Any key I've often wondered why it just wasn't changed in all instances from "Press any key" to "Press a key" because then at least there is an actual "A" key to be pressed if it's taken literally...

All this Tommy, Pinball Wizard stuff, the King must be a fan, he has just Knighted Roger Daltrey. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cly30wpz01po Sir Roger Daltrey, frontman of 1960s-formed rock group The Who and a patron of the Teenage Cancer Trust - known for its annual fundraising concerts at the Royal Albert Hall - has been knighted for services to charity and music. |

Ah, the joys of English dialects.... While most dialects say "giblets" there are a few that say "gibbets", or "gibberts", or "gibbits". Yes, English is very consistent in how words are pronounced (never mind the use of totally different words for the same thing) - this is done to confuse people, like me, who's first language isn't English. Careful Gary. That could be misinterpreted as a racial slur. I do hope you meant something else.

I'm guessing most do not know Arnold Layne. Well, he's fictional, as in, it's the title of Pink Floyd's 1st UK hit, in 1967. And as the lyrics say. "Arnold Layne had a strange hobby Collecting clothes" That happen to be 'see-through baby blue,' from washing lines. lyrics https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3DGpINHX5Q |

Rule 4(ish) https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=86148&postid=2147763#2147763 ...and besides it's a long time since anyone infringed that rule in either thread...... Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

I knew it was just a hope. I was thinking of 3 words spelled differently, meaning different things, but pronounced the same. Got 2. Not the third. Wright - Right - Write
