Shush!... I already looked it up. They have the bags in many styles. I did see a Opossum trying to cross five lanes of traffic this morning. It was getting ready to step off the curb to the first traffic lane as I passed it. |

The Salad Helmet (also spelled Sallet) is a helmet worn from the 15th century to the 16th century. It is an evolution of the "iron chapel" and it is certainly the most common type of helmet during the latter part of the 15th century for both riders and infantry. As seen in this classic. |

I watched a King Kong movie where the guy that kidnapped him was stepped on by Kong. All that was left was a hat floating down and King Kong wondering how to scrape it off his foot. |

Lynn's latest entry "sci-fi/adventure" earns her the privilege of buying a round in Rockies. A single hyphen is permitted, thus "sci-fi" is OK BUT No punctuation marks are allowed, and "/" is a punctuation mark, thus "sci-fi/adventure" falls down. The Minister's Cat is a Victorian parlour game. The game involves describing the eponymous cat using adjectives beginning with each letter of the alphabet. There are different variations of this game. I always played a variation, where each player must remember the adjectives which have gone before, adding their own adjective beginning with the next letter of the alphabet. So the fifth player might say "The Minister's cat is an adorable, beautiful, cute, delightful, ELEGANT cat." In all variations, a player is "out" of the game if they are unable to think of an adjective, or if they repeat one previously used (or can't remember the adjectives which have gone before, in the last variant) Wonder if we should start a new thread called the Minister's cat? |
