binaryism you are either with us of against us.

If you want to break it a choice "none of the above" would be a good place to start.

You just have to live with the consequences of your own stupidity.

Lead singer of Australian band The Jezabels has sparked vicious and claims her career is “over” posing with a pro-Trump MAGA baseball cap.

Australian singer-songwriter Hayley Mary has sparked vicious backlash after she posted wearing a pro-Trump MAGA cap on social media.

Mary, who is both a solo artist and the lead singer of critically acclaimed band The Jezabels, has claimed that she’s lost friends, fans, followers and even members of her own team.....
We had a couple pull in at the pub the other day with the woman getting out of the car and started sticking 1 on her head, but her boyfriend/hubby was right onto her so the cap quickly went back into the car. She was lucky as you could see a few inside getting riled up about it straight away.

The GOP now has all control of all three branches of the government and the SCOTUS (confirmed majority in the House today) and Trump just appointed the Butthead look-alike who happens to be an ephebephile? hebephile?... whatever... a few years away from pedophilia (was not charged however... amazing what the right people can get away with) as his Attorney General, which shocked more than a few of his allies. Mr. Gaetz has only two years' experience as an attorney and no other legal credentials.

We live in "interesting" times. :^p Well, the comedians must be loving it. But bacon was $1 too much, so...

Isn't it possible that Trump wants to demonstrate public support to his most loyal supporters, proposing them for high-ranking positions (or rather, is forced to do so), while Trump's team is absolutely clear they will never be confirmed? I'm so sorry... We tried, but... Then a second or third... more moderate and more experienced candidate will be proposed. Eventually Trump tries to create a shock effect to instigate maximum uproar.... in order to get his second or third proposal confirmed; which is also a very controversial figure; BUT... phew.... so much more bearable than this Matt Gaetz. A game of chess?... stretching the few remaining checks and balances to the maximum?

The pedophile pimp is in a change of course.

Trump's choice for US attorney-general, Matt Gaetz, withdraws from consideration.

Trump's controversial pick for US attorney-general, Matt Gaetz, has withdrawn his nomination after days of pushback on both sides of politics.

The former Florida congressman was under investigation for sexual misconduct, and US senators wanted to see a report into the allegations before confirming his appointment.

Mr Gaetz denies all wrongdoing, but said his nomination was "unfairly becoming a distraction to the critical work of the Trump/Vance transition".

"There is no time to waste on a needlessly protracted Washington scuffle, thus I'll be withdrawing my name from consideration to serve as Attorney General," he wrote on X.......

Well he's off the hook for now, but what will happen when his time in office is over?

Prosecutor drops federal criminal cases against Trump.

The special prosecutor who brought two key criminal cases against Donald Trump has asked judges to drop both of them after his victory in the 2024 presidential election.

Special counsel Jack Smith was overseeing cases accusing Trump of trying to overturn the 2020 election results and improperly storing classified documents after he left office.

Trump had pleaded not guilty in both cases.

In new documents filed on Monday, Mr Smith said the cases should be closed because of a Justice Department policy that bans the prosecution of a sitting president.....

Rump's mouthpiece will argue there was no legal constitutional grounds to not try him while he was President, therefore the statute of limitations ran out and he gets off Scott free on a technicality.

If Dems will win the next elections and... uuhh some will object... will there be elections?... So, if Dems will win, the legal battles will restart. He will be sentenced to prison. But on that day, far in the future, Trump will be too old to serve a prison sentence.

It seems that Donny and his bunch of weirdos are going to be kept on their toes.

The FBI has revealed that a number of members of Donald Trump’s incoming administration have been targeted in threats ranging from bombs to “swatting”.

Several members of Donald Trump’s incoming administration have received threats including bomb alerts, a spokeswoman for the president-elect said on Wednesday.

“Last night and this morning, several of President Trump’s Cabinet nominees and Administration appointees were targeted in violent, unAmerican threats to their lives and those who live with them,” said transition team spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt in a statement.

Without saying who was targeted, Ms Leavitt said these incidents ranged from bomb threats to “swatting,” the practice in which police are summoned urgently to someone’s house under false pretences.

Elise Stefanik, a Trump loyalist congresswoman tapped to be UN ambassador, said her residence in New York was targeted in a bomb threat.

In a statement she said she and husband and small son were driving home from Washington for the thanksgiving holiday when they learned of the threat.......

Truth becomes damned:

New congressional report: “COVID-19 most likely emerged from a laboratory”
wrote:
A textbook example of shifting the standards of evidence to suit its authors' needs.

Recently, Congress' Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic released its final report. The basic gist is about what you'd expect from a Republican-run committee, in that it trashes a lot of Biden-era policies and state-level responses while praising a number of Trump's decisions. But what's perhaps most striking is how it tackles a variety of scientific topics...

... This sort of shifting of the evidentiary baseline has been a feature of some of the more convoluted arguments in favor of creationism or against the science of climate change. But it has mostly been confined to arguments that take place outside the view of the general public. Given its extensive adoption by politicians, however, we can probably expect the public to start seeing a lot more of [shifting the claims and 'evidence'].

Gossip and Fox News outdo Science?...

Science has too much 'Inconvenient' Truth...?

Indeed hell and damnation against any real world realities...

Is this a new world of power-politics all-the-way, regardless?

..........Spokespeople for Trump and his transition team did not directly respond to questions about Trump's financial ties to World Liberty, the Tron investment and potential conflicts.

"President Trump didn't get into politics for profit," said transition spokesperson Karoline Leavitt.

The Trump transition team did not respond to a request for information on what steps he would take to address any conflicts from World Liberty.
What a load of B.S..

Trump's new crypto venture partners with crypto platform linked to Hamas and Hezbollah.

A crypto venture recently unveiled by President-elect Donald Trump and his new Middle East envoy, billionaire Steve Witkoff, has partnered with crypto platform Tron following a $US30 million ($47 million) investment.

"Shape a new era of finance", reads World Liberty Financial's website, which also says it is the only decentralised finance (DeFi) platform endorsed by Trump.

World Liberty Financial Inc was founded by the Witkoff family two months before the US election, with Trump as a financial beneficiary.

Six specialists in US government ethics say the Trump-Witkoff venture presents concerns over ethics and conflicts of interest.

But among their biggest concerns is its newest partner Tron, which they, along with authorities, say has been used by criminals and Iran-backed militant groups Hamas and Hezbollah.......

Worse than that...

The fairy tale politicians lack any understanding of Science and see such science and scientists as impossibly difficult and scary even.

So then, what better than to selectively ignore evidence, especially to ignore scientific evidence and the real world, to then blame all the COVID troubles on the make-believe of rogue science gone wrong? I'm sure there must be a film or two about that already.

Brilliant!!

Science gets denigrated, de-funded, is made to "go away", and so the ignorant politicans can then hope they do not get contradicted or otherwise shown up as idiots by those "difficult" scientists...

Even more brilliant, denigrating science makes the climate pollution problems all "go away" also!

All too Inconvenient?

Lying Donny is now embracing what he didn't know about.

Trump Changes Tune on Project 2025—'Very Conservative and Very Good'.

Trump has publicly praised Project 2025, calling parts of the policy agenda "very conservative and very good."

During his 2024 presidential campaign, Trump distanced himself from the initiative. He called parts of the 900-page guideline spearheaded by the Heritage Foundation "ridiculous and abysmal."

"I know nothing about Project 2025," he wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social, in July. "I have no idea who is behind it. I disagree with some of the things they're saying and some of the things they're saying are absolutely ridiculous and abysmal."

On Thursday, Time magazine named Trump its 2024 Person of the Year and published an interview it conducted with the president-elect on November 25. Speaking to the magazine, Trump softened his tone on the policy document. Though he continued to distance himself from Project 2025, Trump praised some of its ideas.......
I bet that he knew all about those 900 pages before they were put into circulation and approved them.

He has the patience to read 900 pages to understand its content? I can't imagine that. That someone wrote down three short statements about Project 2025 for him, which he then briefly looked at... eventually...´

He's also already given up on food prices... you know, the thing he campaigned on that he would reduce and that possibly won him (OK, lied his way into) the election. How many lies we up to? 36,000 yet?

Trump was asked if his presidency would be considered a "failure" if he didn't deliver on his promise to slash Americans' food bills.

"I don't think so. Look, they got them up," referring to the Biden-Harris administration. "I'd like to bring them down. It's hard to bring things down once they're up. You know, it's very hard," Trump said.

Yep, blame the Democrats and move on. We expected nothing less.
