I do not like Biden, but I am also not a fan of Trump. That however doesn’t mean I am not going to vote. I am going hold my nose and vote simply on policy. Given that is the case, I find there are things I like and dislike that are being touted by both sides. Fortunately, or unfortunately depending on you point of view, the Republican party has a slight edge on what I want and will probably get my vote. I think you will find many people here in the US will be holding their nose when voting regardless of which way they vote.

I need to emphasize that this is from C-SPAN which is a very mainstream, very reliable non-partisan US political TV network that has been around since 1979. This is because it is so out there that I would not trust it if it were only on social media (which it of course also is) until it was independently verified... I'd be likely to think it was altered or even AI-generated.

Here are Donald Trump's own words at a Turning Point rally in Florida:

"And again, Christians get out and vote, just this time. You won’t have to do it anymore. Four more years, you know what? It'll be fixed, it'll be fine. You won’t have to vote anymore, my beautiful Christians. I love you, Christians. I'm not Christian[?] I love you. Get out... you gotta get out and vote. In four years, you don’t have to vote again. We'll have it fixed so good, you're not gonna have to vote."

"I'm not Christian" could be "I'm a Christian"... it's ambiguous but I think he'd be unlikely to say otherwise however it sounds like "I'm not Christian" to myself and many others.

It can be seen starting at 1:03:00 of the full speech.

And here I am worried when he finally told the truth... for once. :^p

This man is a professed Christian. There is clear evidence. ;-)

How much of Trump's speeches are well-considered, prepared statements and how much is intuition, the mood of the moment, a replay of his erratic character with emotional outbursts? Do we know anything about this?

[EDIT to add:]I think from his way of expressing himself, how he moves his head and the direction he is looking (towards the teleprompters at right or left side vs. straight at the audience) you can assume that these statements are off-script; simply babbled thoughtlessly like so many others. He simply throws out his unsorted BS thoughts.

Oh delusional Donny knew exactly what he said, and only a wannabe dictator would even think about saying that.

‘Ridiculous attack’:Trump clarifies remark that people ‘won’t have to vote anymore’ if he wins the election.

Donald Trump has sought to clarify what he meant when he told a crowd of supporters they “won’t have to vote anymore” if he wins the presidential election in November.

The remark in question, quickly seized upon by Mr Trump’s critics, was delivered to an audience of Christian voters in Florida on Friday.

“Get out and vote. Just this time. You won’t have to do it anymore. Four more years, you know what? It’ll be fixed, it’ll be fine, you won’t have to vote anymore,” he said.....
You can bet that if he gets in again that he'll push for a change to get a 3rd term in (or until his death just like his delusional buddy PooTin).

It looks like delusional Donny has put a lid on that thing that he didn't know about.

Trump Campaign Celebrates Project 2025 'Demise'.

Trump would "greatly welcome" the demise of Project 2025, the former president's campaign said in an emailed statement following the news that Paul Dans, the project's director, was stepping down from the Heritage Foundation.

Project 2025 is a 900-page document created by the conservative think tank that presents policy proposals for a future GOP administration. Trump has worked to distance himself from the plan, which has proposed overhauling the federal bureaucracy, reversing many of the Biden administration's climate policies, rolling back abortion and LGBTQ+ rights, and bringing about changes to education standards.

The plan also proposes removing civil service employment protections for thousands of federal employees to make them easier to fire and replace with Republican loyalists......
I guess that he didn't want the general public to know about his plans.

Putin's term in office is of course limited and ends according to the constitution (amended in 2022) in 2030. He will then be 78 years old, which is, as we already know, the best age to run vor US presidency. He will be an American citizen by then; the FBI collecting all the documents from a storeroom in Mar-a-Lago will have found his lost birth certificate among them which proves that he was indeed born in Saint Petersburg (Florida).

The crap just keeps on flowing out of Delusional Donny's mouth.

Trump suggests Kamala Harris suddenly 'became a Black person'.

...."So I don't know. Is she Indian or is she Black? I respect either one, but she obviously doesn't, because she was Indian all the way and then all of a sudden, she made a turn and she went, she became a Black person."......
He's certainly losing it.

He can't handle her being a mixture. That is more complex than his dementia riddled brain is capable of processing. It also makes it so hard to come up with pejoratives to call her. He might use the wrong one!

But he is also a 'mixture': Scottish-German. And to only base such considerations on skin color is so 19th-centuryish. There was a time it was a "problem" to have a catholic U.S. president (I can understand that ;-)). Biden is one for example. Trumps ancestry (southern Germany & Scotland) was clearly catholic. This man is not suitable for the 21st century, a dinosaur.

Don't get dragged too far into the Scottish mire!

Much of the 'troubles' - riots and improvised bombs - in Ireland over the past 400 years can be traced back to the deliberate "plantation" (the word used) of Scottish protestants into the northern counties of catholic Ireland to support the protestant English colonial power.

Isn't it funny how the most violent conflicts are sometimes between different flavours derived from the same Abrahamic roots? Better just to stick with the human race, until a better one comes along.

Delusional Donny is certainly not helping his cause after his train wreck NABJ appearance and his usual whining about it afterwards.

Trump went nuclear after being asked by a black, female journalist about his own comments. The reaction says it all.

I certainly don't think that he earned any black votes, but I reckon that he lost a lot. ROFLMFAO!!!!!

As I said some years ago, Rump is a life long Democrat. He has done a wonderful false flag operation inside the GOP to tear it asunder. At this late date it will be impossible for the GOP to get an electable candidate and veep. He has given Harris the powers of a Queen to utterly crush any future GOP. The deed is done.

Trump is withdrawing from the race. Nikki Haley is taking over. With her Indian heritage she is the perfect candidate to run against the „black“ Kamala Harris.

What‘s the problem with such a scenario? I only see Trump’s narcism which makes it impossible for him to admit a defeat.

He or his puppet master in Moscow? Watch any video where Trump met Putin at a G8 summit. Trump is nervous, submissive; seems he fears his Tsar while Putin puts on his malicious grin. Kompromat…
