Sure, by area. Maybe 20% by population. If only they could get land to vote... oh, right: the electoral college.

I wonder if anything juicy will get revealed.

Trump Campaign Hack: What We Know.

Former President Donald Trump's campaign has reported a breach of its internal communications on Saturday, according to a report from Politico.

The incident has raised alarms about potential foreign interference in the 2024 presidential race and the vulnerability of campaign infrastructure to cyber-attacks.

The Trump campaign's acknowledgment of the hack followed inquiries by Politico, which had begun receiving emails from an anonymous source containing what appeared to be authentic internal campaign documents.

According to the Trump campaign, the breach reportedly involved the theft of internal communications and documents. The campaign has pointed fingers at "foreign sources hostile to the United States," suggesting a state-sponsored attack. However, the exact nature and extent of the compromised information remain unclear......

Donny isn't happy, and I like that.

Insiders have revealed what Donald Trump has reportedly been saying about Kamala Harris behind closed doors amid claims the former president is starting to panic.

Trump is struggling with an attack strategy against Kamala Harris, amid reports he called her a “b**ch” repeatedly in private as the Republican presidential nominee also sees support in the polls plunge.

Two sources told The New York Times that they heard the former president make the remark on different occasions.

A spokesman for Mr Trump has since refuted the claims, with Steven Cheung denying the former president had ever used the insult to refer to Ms Harris.........

Strange 'bedfellows'?

Familiar vitriol, and Musk the enabler: key takeaways from Trump’s X interview
wrote:
Donald Trump returned to the social media platform that skyrocketed his career for a live discussion with Elon Musk. The former president unleashed familiar rambling, vitriolic talking points to a sympathetic Musk.

Here are key takeaways from the event...

... Trump rehashed the greatest hits, and biggest lies, from his rallies – absurdly claiming...

... and spreading conspiracy theories about the coronavirus pandemic, [and] his criminal cases...

... His most dangerous lies were about immigration and the climate crisis...

... dismissed the climate crisis as a threat, saying that rising sea levels would at best create more “oceanfront properties”. That latter point, which he has made before, is, of course, wrong – rising sea levels are more likely to destroy beachfront property, devastating coastal communities...

... Throughout the conversation, the two men lavished praise and admiration on each other. ... Musk, meanwhile, nodded along and agreed as Trump said that it was wrong to “vilify” the oil and gas industry...

... aimed more at those who had already bought into Trump and Musk’s rightwing politics. At the end, Musk told Trump he was “on the right path”.

Whatever happened to that Trump-lovin' "pillow" guy?...

Will Musk likewise become a Trump 'victim'?...

Delusional Donny once again proves himself to be the king of hypocrites.

Trump Wants Bullet Trains in America: 'Doesn't Make Sense'.

Trump lamented that the U.S. doesn't have bullet trains—despite taking actions to hinder high-speed rail development as president.

Trump praised Japan's high-speed passenger trains during a live audio conversation with Elon Musk on X, formerly Twitter, on Monday.

Speaking about bullet trains, Trump said: "They go unbelievably fast, unbelievably comfortable with no problems, and we don't have anything like that in this country. Not even close. And it doesn't make sense that we don't, doesn't make sense."

In recent years, the U.S. has begun planning and investing in a number of high-speed rail projects in various places, including California.

In 2019, the Trump administration canceled a $929 million grant to California's high-speed rail project that had been allocated by the Obama administration......

Trump Campaign Leaked Insider Material: What We Know.

Confidential material from the Donald Trump campaign was leaked to at least three news outlets over the last month.

Politico, The New York Times and The Washington Post all received material including the campaign's report vetting JD Vance as a vice presidential candidate.

So far, each has refused to reveal any details about what they received, instead describing what they had in broad terms.

Their decisions contrast to leaks during the 2016 presidential campaign, when a Russian hack exposed emails to and from Hillary Clinton's campaign manager, John Podesta.

Mainstream news organizations covered these emails avidly after they were published by the website WikiLeaks.......

Trump Campaign Forced to Pay North Carolina City $82k in Advance for Rally.

Former President Donald Trump's campaign was forced to pay more than $82,000 in advance for this week's rally in Asheville, North Carolina.

Trump is set to take the stage at Asheville's Thomas Wolfe Auditorium on Wednesday after paying $82,247.60 to the city for a "last-minute" rally, according to Blue Ridge Public Radio (BPR). The campaign, struggling to effectively blunt the momentum of Vice President Kamala Harris, reportedly first contacted the city about the rally on August 8.

City of Asheville spokesperson Kim Miller told BPR that $22,500 of the amount paid is a two-day rental fee for the auditorium, while "the remainder of the funds go to cover additional costs such as house support, production staff, production equipment rental, and exterior items like queue stanchions and port-a-loos."

While the campaign paid in advance due to Asheville's policy for short-notice bookings, Trump has a long history of failing to pay cities for billed rally fees, leaving the White House in January 2021 with at least $850,000 in unpaid rally debt. Most of the bills are still unpaid, including more than $500,000 owed to the city of El Paso, Texas......

And I was larfed at when I said that was the only case that was actually going to succeed... all the others are either federal so he could mess with the judge(s) who get them, or occurred during his term in office. This was the only one that was both state and started prior.

Thus the criminal's demise... usually something they didn't plan for thus plan to avoid. :^)

Is Donny heading towards another round of court cases?

Trump Faces FEC Lawsuit Over Elon Musk Interview.

A political action committee has filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission against Donald Trump over his recent two-hour live interview with Elon Musk.

End Citizens United, a Democrat-aligned PAC, claims that the interview "amounted to a virtual campaign event" for Trump financed by X, formerly Twitter, which would be in violation of federal law.

The complaint names Trump, his campaign treasurer Bradley T. Crate and X as the respondents.

"Such a brazen corporate contribution undermines the anti-corruption aims of the Act, and the Commission should immediately investigate these violations and take appropriate remedial action," the complaint said, referring to the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971.

Federal law bans corporations from making contributions to political candidates and candidates from accepting such contributions.

The complaint notes that a "contribution" can be considered as "anything of value" provided to a candidate in connection with their election......

I fear that all the criminal cases which pile up against Donny will take a period of time that far exceeds his current life expectancy. How can he be forced to live a much healthier lifestyle so that he can refute all his accusers until the last trial? We don't want a martyr who was struck down by fate but undefeated. That would not be fair.

Donny just can't stop being a moron who can't stop alienating people.

Trump's Medal Of Honor Remarks Spark Anger From Veterans.

Trump's remark that the civilian Presidential Medal of Freedom is "better" than the Medal of Honor for military valor has sparked backlash from veterans.

The Republican presidential nominee made the statement on Thursday evening when praising Miriam Adelson, the widow of one of the GOP's former largest donors, Sheldon Adelson.

Miriam Adelson has continued to make substantial donations to Trump's campaigns, and was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2018.

"It's actually much better because everyone [who] gets the Congressional Medal of Honor, they're soldiers," Trump told supporters gathered at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, on Thursday.

"They're either in very bad shape because they've been hit so many times by bullets or they're dead. She gets it, and she's a healthy, beautiful woman, and they're rated equal.".......
But then again what do you expect from a draft dodger? Though his pet judge is still trying her best for him by adding more delays.

Meanwhile there's another fact that Donny won't like, but he'll tell all the opposite.

Border Crossings Plunge to Lowest Level Since Pandemic.

July saw the lowest number of crossings at the U.S.-Mexico border in four years, a statistic that is sure to be a boon for Democrats on the eve of their convention as immigration continues to be a central issue in the presidential election.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) said Friday that July saw a 32% drop over the prior month, thanks in part to President Joe Biden's effective asylum ban signed in June.

There were 56,408 encounters at the southwest border, stretching along California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas, last month, the lowest number since the height of the pandemic in September 2020.....
Wasn't Donny in charge back then?

1st he didn't want muted mics and now it looks like he's trying to get out of the debate due to them now being open.

Trump Isn't Preparing for Kamala Harris Debate.

.....Brian Fallon, a senior adviser to the Harris campaign, told Newsweek that there is a dispute between the two campaigns over whether microphones should be live because Trump could not remain disciplined for 90 minutes.

"We have told ABC and other networks seeking to host a possible October debate that we believe both candidates' mics should be live throughout the full broadcast," Fallon said.

"Our understanding is that Trump's handlers prefer the muted microphone because they don't think their candidate can act presidential for 90 minutes on his own."

On Monday morning, Trump was asked about the debate format and rules, specifically the muted mics rule. Muted microphones were used in the first presidential debate of 2024, a CNN-hosted clash between Biden and Trump.

Trump is known for making frequent interruptions in presidential debates. In 2020, he interrupted Biden 71 times, leading to Biden retorting "will you shut up, man?".......
