I find it a sad commentary on the entire system that a convicted felon can legally be elected President, the most powerful position on Earth, even while incarcerated, but most states ban people from simply voting for the President if they ever were a felon, even though they "paid their debt to society" and haven't even had a ticket in decades. As we saw in 2000, another security weakness to be exploited by "accidentally" purging non-felons from the rolls because they had similar names so may vote for the "wrong party".
