And auto-dialers are generally pretty thick when it comes to sorting out where people live.
When I had a landline I got quite a number of calls saying I lived in some other part of the country, some weeks so many my voice mail would be jammed full of them so I turned voice mail off.

Very sadly, yet another real world example:

The world's biggest loser clocks up yet another loss.

Trump Loses Case Over Ex-Aide Manigault Newman’s Tell-All Book.

I can't wait for his more serious cases to get underway.

But then again, Joe to the rescue. ;-)

US sends money to Florida school officials who defied anti-mask mandate.

The federal funding comes in response to an executive order the Republican Florida governor signed in July. According to the order, the state would withhold funding from any district that makes masks compulsory for students without allowing parents to opt out their children from participation. The state Education Department withheld salaries in response.

The federal Education Department also published a notice for additional districts to apply for funding, known as the Biden administration's SAFE grant program.

How many people has Trump killed with this?

Afghanistan: US-Taliban deal hastened Afghan collapse, defence officials say

... the Taliban's takeover of Afghanistan can be traced back to a deal between the group and the Trump administration.

The so-called Doha agreement was signed in February 2020 and set a date for the US to withdraw its troops.

Gen Frank McKenzie said the deal had a "really pernicious effect" on the Afghan government and military.

Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin agreed, saying the agreement had helped the Taliban get "stronger"...

... He said he had believed "for quite a while" that if the US reduced the number of its military advisers in Afghanistan below 2,500, the Afghan government and military would inevitably collapse...

... Mr Austin said that by committing the US to ending air strikes against the Taliban, the Doha agreement meant the Islamist group "got stronger, they increased their offensive operations against Afghan security forces, and the Afghans were losing a lot of people on a weekly basis"...

How many more people will die as a consequence?

Here's a horror book writer's view of DeSantis:

"Not The Brightest Bulb In The Chandelier" - Stephen King On Gov. Ron DeSantis

And from the comments in there, DeSantis appears to be killing off more than just his own voters (and all others) in and around Florida...

https://kutv.com/news/coronavirus/usu-study-shows-connection-between-political-views-covid-19-case-and-death-rates
(KUTV) — A study based at Utah State University shows that counties with higher concentrations of voters for former President Donald Trump also had higher cases of COVID-19 per capita.

The study from Western Rural Development Center, or WRDC, not only shows a connection between politics and COVID-19 cases per capita, it found that political views were the most important variable explaining per-capita cases.

One has to wonder if they also did a cross study on IQ how it would correlate?

Russia loves it when their plan comes together.
More than half of Americans who voted for Trump are in favor of ‘red’ states seceding from the union, according to a recent poll which found nearly half of Biden voters feel the same way. Is the nation en route to Civil War 2.0!

Some 52% of Trump voters surveyed by the Center for Politics at the University of Virginia believe the country would be better off if Republican-voting (‘red’) states seceded from the union to form their own nation, according to a poll published on Friday. A quarter of such voters strongly agreed with that sentiment.

It was not only Trump voters who thought it was time for the United States to disunite. Some 41% of Biden voters also approved of the idea, though a smaller percentage – 18% – felt strongly about it.

Arguably more disturbing were the implications for the “other” party if secession did not occur. A sizable majority of both Trump and Biden voters agreed with the statement that “if our society so wants, it is the duty of every true citizen to help eliminate the evil that poisons our country from within.” Certainly no one’s coming forward defending (or identifying as) evil, but it would appear both parties are referring to each other when using such a term.

A whopping 80% of Biden voters and 84% of Trump voters agree that elected officials from the other party are “presenting a clear and present danger to American democracy.”

As far as ‘values’ are concerned, almost 90% of Trump voters believe that the Democratic Party wants to “eliminate the influence of traditional values in American life and culture,” while 78% of Biden voters feel the same – substituting “progressive” for “traditional.”

It is not necessarily hate or disdain driving the divide – in many cases, it’s fear.

Biden and Trump voters alike (80% and 82%, respectively) worry that they or someone close to them “might experience personal loss or suffering due to the effects of [the opposition party’s] policies in the future.”

Almost three-quarters of both parties have lost faith in the First Amendment, suggesting “some media sources on the extreme [right/left] have become so untruthful that they should be censored to stop the spreading of dangerous lies.”

Both parties consider media that favor the opposite ‘side’ to be a de facto arm of the relevant party, with 77% of Democrats deeming the likes of Fox News a fake-news-sodden press organ of the GOP, while 88% of Republicans write off the likes of MSNBC as a hive of liberal shills.

Apparently seeing little room for nuance, 76% of Trump voters declared there is “no real difference between Democrats and socialists,” while 56% of Biden voters counter that there is “no real difference between Republicans and fascists.”

In fantasizing about how to fix their divided nation, a sizable minority on both left and right have given reign to their inner totalitarian, suggesting “It would be better for America if whoever is president could take needed actions without being constrained by Congress or the courts.” While that figure stands at just 46% for Democrats and only 44% for Republicans, both ‘sides’ were quite open about their desire for a “powerful leader” who could “destroy the radical and immoral currents prevailing in society today.”

Fully 82% of Republicans were willing to embrace such a strongman (or strongwoman), and even 62% of Democrats approved of the idea. A similar portion believed there were “many radical, immoral people trying to ruin things” and that “our society ought to stop them.”

The pollsters stopped short of asking outright who those radical, immoral people might be, perhaps assuming it was the other party being scapegoated – though the vitriol against such “radicals” met with considerably more bipartisan approval than the political divide itself.

American media – particularly of the mainstream variety – often bemoan the lack of national unity, blaming it primarily on Trump and his supporters. Even Mediaite’s report on the poll that showed the desire for secession is bipartisan seemed designed to further divide the population, declaring in its headline that “Trump voters” were the ones demanding disunity, even as more than 40% of Biden voters called for the same thing.

The difference is, we recognize the creeping fascism while they still can't define socialism.

Trump sues to get his Twitter account restored, claiming tech giant caved into pressure from rivals.

The former US president asked a federal judge in Florida to request Twitter restore his account – which was removed nearly 10 months ago, The Sun reports.

Mr Trump has now filed a request for a preliminary injunction against Twitter in the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
I wonder if he'll also get told, like others have been of late, to take it to a Californian court.

Well Donny isn't as rich as he'd like to think he is.

Trump is no longer one of Forbes' 400 richest people in America.

I bet that hurt his feelings.

Trump claimed that his DC hotel earned $150m during his time in office, because he got foreign governments to stay there when visiting and hosting events for his friends and republican sycophants. But;
In a statement, the House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Reform said that documents provided by the General Services Administration (GSA) - which oversees federal spending - showed that Mr Trump had "grossly exaggerated the financial health" of the hotel.
Report finds Trump’s DC hotel lost $70m during his presidency

Is that 'real' or...

An accountancy mechanism for profitably moving funds 'elsewhere'?...

Or are those losses a deliberate ploy to offset taxes elsewhere?...

Or, despite his potent Presidential 'aura' and 'branding' and 'merchandising': Really?! He Trumped it??!
