.., the one who took over all the bad things from his father..
And he got them from his father who started it all off during the Yukon Gold Rush ripping off gold miners while running a brothel and gambling joint in the guise of a hotel all of which was illegal, but at the time wasn't enforced, until local authorities started to crack down on it so he sold out his share of the business to his alcoholic partner Levin and he moved back to Kallstadt (1901?). But he had to leave there quickly when authorities determined that he had emigrated from Germany to avoid his military-service obligations, and he was classified as a draft dodger (another thing that runs in the family) so he returned to New York. ;-)

Reminder:

"IQ" is abstract and relative. Our present measure of IQ can be 'gamed' in that you can practice the IQ tests to get better at them...


Regardless of general IQ, Trump does seem to be excellent at gaming the political game...

Likely, the traits that Trump excels at, are exactly the traits that we as 'decent' 'Human beings' would prefer not to see...

Perhaps Mendel should rearrange his peas?

And still, even though all this was known about the Trump family, enough Americans voted for Trump as President.
I don't know how to ask the question why they did that really, and at the same time abide by the forum rules.
That question would inevitably lead to something about IQ, education, and other sensitive things.

Hilary Clinton was extremely disliked. Too many ignored the choices besides the major party candidates. Question answered.
Today King Donald is as equally despised as Hillary. Will history repeat?

It looks like all is not that well inside the GOP.

Republicans express fears Donald Trump will lose presidential election.

While Dr. Fauci fires back at latest v2.0 add which has him up front.

Anthony Fauci criticises Donald Trump for using his words out of context.

“In my nearly five decades of public service, I have never publicly endorsed any political candidate,” Fauci said in a statement to CNN on Sunday. “The comments attributed to me without my permission in the [Republican] campaign ad were taken out of context from a broad statement I made months ago about the efforts of federal public health officials.”


And while Trump is losing the elderly and the female vote Gen Z could be the deciding factor.

The rise of Gen Z could foretell the fall of Trumpism and the GOP.

The evidence all points in one direction: Americans born after 1996, known as Generation Z, could doom not only Trumpism but conservatism as the country currently knows it.

Members of Generation Z who are of voting age — 18- to 23-year-olds — want more government solutions. They rank climate change, racism and economic inequality consistently in their top issues, according to polls, and they participated in greater numbers during their first midterm (in 2018) than previous generations did theirs.

As Republicans espouse “family values” and “religious liberty,” data finds that Generation Z, also known as Zoomers, are less likely than older Americans to be a member of a religious group — 4 in 10 don’t affiliate — and appear to care more about systemic racism and an equitable future than upholding traditional nuclear family structures, based on polling of their policy priorities.

To members of Generation Z, who have come of voting age in the past five years, President Donald Trump and Republicanism are one and the same. And most pollsters and experts on voting behavior agree that patterns are developed early — how a person votes in their early years, and the impressions they form from high school into young adulthood, stick with them in one form or another for decades.
It goes to show that the young arn't as gullible as a lot of older people want to think they are. ;-)

This claim by Trump really demonstrates his lack of understanding of how virus immunity works. Since it is only a matter of a few days since he was "cured" of COVID-19 he cannot claim he is immune from it, and imply that he can never get it again. His body may be able to fight off a small attack, but there are have been far too many cases over the years of a person being hit a second time by just about every virus going - even in the short term (days) from them being declared "cured". Remember virus are sneaky little things and have, despite their small size, a vast array of ways of attacking. Smugness and complacency are two of their greatest allies.

I think Trump's utterances show three things. Firstly, that as you say, he seems not to understand the basics of the Covid-19 virus.

Very likely. Or worse, he deliberately doesn't want to know due to the virus going against his 'game plan'. Far easier is to ignore 'problems' rather than do some work to actually do something good...


And secondly, that his advisors are not advising him sensibly, or he has cut them off and won't listen to them.

You can bet he has very good advisers, for what they advise...

(However, in the cruel callous games of politics and propaganda, the advice may well be not what you might expect or hope for...)


Lastly, he seems paranoidly...

Yep, we've seen lots of that...


... Is this a man that seriously expects to get re-elected???

Yep.

All unbelievable is it not?...

Even more incredible, is with the political conditions in the USA, he might yet gain reelection!!!


Kinda makes old Nero look like a saint!

It seems that U.S. judges don't agree with v2.0's of voter fraud.

Judges across the country cast doubt on voter fraud claims pushed by Republicans and Trump campaign.

But will the U.S. fall off a cliff or will it pull back from the edge?

Why this month is most dangerous for Americans in 2020.

Scientists say the patient caught coronavirus twice, rather than the original infection becoming dormant and then bouncing back. A comparison of the genetic codes of the virus taken during each bout of symptoms showed they were too distinct to be caused by the same infection.

in the previous Trump thread post 2058628 you asked about cancelling of the election. Well yesterday in the hearing for ACB's (Amy Coney Barrett) nomination for the SCOTUS she was asked a similar question. And guess what her knowledge was similar to yours and she got it wrong.

“President Trump made claims of voter fraud and suggested he wanted to delay the upcoming election,” Sen. Dianne Feinstein (Calif.), the ranking Democrat on the Judiciary Committee, observed. “Does the Constitution give the president of the United States the authority to unilaterally delay a general election under any circumstances? Does federal law?”

This should have been a gimme. There was only one correct answer: No.

But this is not the answer Barrett gave. “Well, Senator, if that question ever came before me, I would need to hear arguments from the litigants and read briefs and consult with my law clerks and talk to my colleagues and go through the opinion-writing process,” she answered. She said she didn’t want to give “off-the-cuff answers” like a “pundit” but rather approach matters “with an open mind.”


Correct answers:
Article II, Section 1 of the Constitution states: “The Congress may determine the Time of chusing the Electors, and the Day on which they shall give their Votes; which Day shall be the same throughout the United States.”

The 20th Amendment to the Constitution requires: “The terms of the President and the Vice President shall end at noon on the 20th day of January … and the terms of their successors shall then begin.”

Title 3, Section 1, Chapter 1 of the U.S. Code specifies: “The electors of President and Vice President shall be appointed, in each State, on the Tuesday next after the first Monday in November, in every fourth year succeeding every election of a President and Vice President.”


And the GOP still think ACB should be on the supreme court of the land, sheeech.

A few simple notes to happy posting
Don't point fingers at other posters
Answer requests for fact with either the facts or links to the facts
Fact check external sources in a reasonable manner
Keep the size of pictures SMALL, and certainly with the larger dimension less than 1024
Be very aware when "deep quoting" that when you get above three deep the message can become unreadable on some small-screen devices
Remember posting is a privilege not a right, and that privilege may be withdrawn at any time
