Posting as I wait for it to warm up downstairs so that I can service a lawn mower today.

My weeds need taming and the old dead grass picked up as it's almost that time of the year for the grass to go berserk.

Cheers.

12 months ago it was almost the same way here Carlos, but at least we got some floods 4 months later in before the corona attacked us.

Well it's still a little cool downstairs to start on a mower just yet (I may even have to light the fire up if things don't improve down there soon), though I have got a new bar and chain on my chainsaw after 17yrs as that was just a quick job to do (but I need to warm up again now).

Cheers.

A quick drink of fire water will warm you. Lol.

It's far too early for that Admiral. ;-)

I broke down and threw a few pieces of wood in the wood heater (I think that I put in 1 piece too many now, but I'm not feeling that cool easterly gale coming in over the rollerdoor anymore) so now I'm just having a beer break before I put a set of new blades on, some fresh engine oil in (the old stuff should be well drained out by then and the shed a bit cooler) and a new pull start cord.

Cheers.

Well that's all my petrol powered yard tools all serviced today and ready for action while annoying Dog again. :-D

I must say though that I don't like the hassle that you have to go through just to replace a B&S pull start cord. :-(

El Dorado fire containment @ 31%, started by a gender reveal smoke bomb, idiots.
Yeah we had an idiot north of the border here last year Vic that started 1 after smoking up his gender reveal tyres and also lighting his near new muscle car up in the process (karma).

Cheers.

Speaking of Bobcat, in the 1/2 mile visibility from the smoke from the Bobcat fire, a feline Bobcat decided to clear my backyard of squirrels and other small snacks about 1/2 hour ago.

Smoke from the Cali fires is in the skies over Oklahoma. The weather dude was showing the view from space of the weather flow pattern with the smoke.

Eat part of it, save the rest for leftovers I'd guess.
Shirley you jest Vic? I'll need the energy to start tackling my weed yard tomorrow (unless a random trip into town happens).

But peas, corn, beans and carrots will definitely go long with it, it's just the decision between a bit of mash potato, rice or pasta to round it out with is what I'm still tossing up.

I know, I'll have another beer and that should make my decision clearer. ;-)

Cheers.
