Bad news on saving a critter, but it may turn out to be good in the end. Researchers probe mass deaths of 'bum-breathing' Mary River turtle babies. Through the gaping mouth of a fork-tailed catfish, you can spot the tail of an undigested bream, swallowed whole. Cheers. |

They didn't expect that. Oldest-known wild platypus gives new insights into longevity of enigmatic Australian species. Gemma Snowball didn't make too much of the tag on the platypus pulled from a Melbourne creek last autumn.Cheers. |

Well I never. Man finds baby eastern brown snake caught by redback spider's web at Beachport. ....Eastern brown snakes may be one of Australia's most venomous reptiles, but Peter Marchal says it is not the first time he has seen a redback spider triumph against one.Cheers. |

Build a Dedicated TV for Your Kitties or your Doggies! ... This is all possible thanks to the internal Raspberry Pi SBC. Stern tested it with both a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B and a Raspberry Pi 5 Model B. Both have more than enough horsepower for this job. The screen is a 5” Elecrow Capacitive Touch LCD Display with a resolution of 800×480. |
