A diver was decapitated by a 19-foot-long great white shark in Mexico in front of a fisherman, report says
(He) was diving to collect mollusks in Tobari Bay when he was attacked and killed in front of a fisherman on January 5, according to Tracking Sharks.

"He was diving when the animal attacked him, impressively ripping off his head and biting both shoulders," Jose Bernal told the outlet, speaking for the fisherman.

I wonder if house insurance covers damage by COVID side effects?

A homeowner was horrified when they discovered an alien structure infested with deadly insects growing on their bathroom wall.

...The Melbourne home was unoccupied throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, giving the wasps plenty of time to build the huge nest.

The colossal size of the nest – which is usually basketball-sized – suggested it could have been built from as early as September 2021.

Thousands of wasps infested the massive nest, creating a dangerous environment for the pest controllers....

I'd be bombing that bathroom until nothing moved in there. :-O

Cheers.

My guess is it's a Human-Sized Wasp nest that has taken over the whole back seat on one side from floor to ceiling of the car and also part of the remaining back seat also.

Well, duh! I meant where, why, and how. But thanks for playing, Mr. Obvious.

A feral pest is proving to be an asset for outback gardeners.

Carp swarm Menindee Lakes in NSW as locals use them as fertiliser until floodwaters recede.

Get those environmental wreckers under your plants out there people.

Cheers.

Monkey Ape business...
Zookeepers Say They’ve Solved the Mystery of How a Gibbon Got Pregnant by Herself
But that still left one burning question unanswered—if she never had direct contact with Itoh, how did she get pregnant in the first place?

The zoo has no hard evidence like surveillance footage, but Yamano said the apes’ point of contact was probably a hole in the wall measuring nine millimeters in diameter.

Wild video shows squirrel fly into home as door opens for pizza delivery
A Nest doorbell camera captured the shocking moment an aggressive squirrel soared from a porch ceiling and into a home as the door opened for a pizza delivery.

At least there's been 1 good thing coming out of our outback floods.

Record flooding in New South Wales wetlands triggers bird breeding bonanza.

Cheers.

Try a Wood Frog. It can literally freeze solid in the winter when it hibernates. It will stop all body function and basically flatline until the spring thaw. Then return back to life.
