Disney Lemmings are a lie!...

Did Disney Fake Lemming Suicide for the Nature Documentary ‘White Wilderness’?
wrote:
Lemmings don't commit mass suicide, so filmmakers had to use various camera tricks...

... None of what was shown in the film was realistic lemming behavior, however...

Lemmings were hurt in the making up of a fanciful legend for the sake of some film faked dramatics...

That's another lie and legend to undo!

The gator should have started with the hors d'oeuvres first. Not the main course.

Woman screams so loudly over spider causes neighbours to call police.

She was also freaked out by a moth in her room, causing her to scream loudly.

Her shrieking caught the attention of neighbours, with one so concerned that they picked up the phone and called the cops.

After the alarm was raised two Police Scotland vans turned up and officers visited her flat.

Ms Hunter shared pictures of officers inside her room, with some lifting up her mattress to search for the arachnid.

Ms Hunter said she was “mortified” by the experience and admitted she needs help for her arachnophobia.

Luckily officers, who found and relocated the spider, saw the humorous side of the bizarre evening call-out.
What is it with some women and spiders? :-O

Cheers.

Not just women, my eldest, who's hit the big 4zero, doesn't like them. Earlier this week he used my bathroom because there was a spider running loose in the main bathroom.
Mind you he doesn't scream, he just runs away to find someone else to remove it.

‘Dead’ seabirds sprawled on Texas beaches actually just need some serious rest. Why?

.. In reality, these two birds were doing some serious resting

If you see this invasive pest, kill it on the spot

From Virginia to Illinois to Massachusetts, an invasive species threatens to devastate vineyards and forests across the United States. The spotted lanternfly, a beautiful but devastating species indigenous to parts of Asia, is spreading across the country despite the best efforts from experts to halt the spread.

5 Reasons Why The Woofus Will Be Your New Favorite (Mystical) Animal At The Texas State Fair
The (Texas) Woofus isn’t a single animal, but rather a mashup of all the livestock you’d find at the State Fair. He’s got the face of a sheep, the mane and neck of a horse, the body of a pig, the wings of a duck, the tail of a turkey and a pair of horns from a Texas Longhorn to complete the look.

Antarctic penguin washes ashore nearly 2,000 miles from home

The penguin, named Pingu by the locals, made a wrong turn somewhere in the Southern Ocean before washing up far from home -- only the third time a penguin is known to have made it this far from the South Pole.
