That is a scary thought. Snakes in the roof. At least it is not squirrels and raccoons.

Just dream of them dropping down on your head in bed!

:-O !

Dream on?

I have kept snakes since I was 8 years old. When I was 9 or 10, I had a rainbow boa. I had scarlet fever, and was feeling really horrible, and had a fever.
My rainbow boa escaped from its cage, and found its way to my chest when I was sleeping. It curled up there, enjoying the heat I was throwing off.
When I woke up, I found the snake on my chest, and rather than being terrified, I though it was the nicest thing that could have happened.
I put the snake back in its cage.

I guess it depends on the snake. There are several here that range from semi lethal to see you in the next world.

Kitties don't like snakes of any sort.

Meow.

Uh oh, another raccoon in trouble................

Ohio man calls police after raccoon ‘ransacked’ kitchen, hid in dishwasher.

Photos from the latest call show the critter crouched inside the dishwasher, and then led away on a leash by the officer.

Perhaps they could help to subdue Mr. Angry Pheasant.

(But I think it might also help if the postman stopped wearing scarlet tights on his rounds)

In a scene that's reminiscent of Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" corellas transform a once quiet suburban street into a nightmare.

Nightmarish video shows hundreds of corellas descending on Nowra street.

Cheers.

It seems that almost everyone wants to put in an appearance for the cameras at Byron Bay (just down the hill from here, sorta).

Massive octopus filmed pulling itself along Byron Bay beach.

Despite being overrun by celebrities, influencers and tourists – nothing was going to stop this giant octopus from spending some time on the sands of Wategos Beach in Byron Bay.

Sydney resident Jarrah Brailey filmed the eight-legged creature making its way across the sand towards some nearby rocks.

The octopus, which had tentacles around 30cm long, appeared to frequently change its colours with each movement.

“It absolutely was crazy, I couldn’t believe it,” Ms Brailey said. “It was really cool, it was changing colour depending on whether it was under water, or on the sand or the rocks to camouflage itself. It was absolutely massive.”
Cheers.

Meet the cats fighting Chicago’s rat problem

For the sixth consecutive year, Chicago has been named the rattiest city in America according to Orkin.

To combat this issue, the Tree House Humane Society has placed over 1,000 feral cats onto Chicago streets since 2012.

Eight foot Alligator says: " I'll take one of everything on the menu please..."
A taco shop in East Texas was forced to close its drive-thru Wednesday morning after an alligator showed up waiting in line — and then fell asleep.

It happened at Jucy’s Taco in Henderson, about 170 miles southeast of Fort Worth, and the restaurant kept its sense of humor about the ordeal.

“The drive thru at Jucy’s Taco in Henderson is temporarily closed, as a customer decided to take a nap in the line,” the restaurant wrote on Facebook. “It turns out gators like Jucy’s Taco, too!”

It was 'only' a 173-pound record breaking spinner shark she wrangled with..
“When we finally got it to the boat, that is kind of when it went crazy,” she said, maybe realizing it was about to get gaffed, which it did....

“It was crazy … I’ve never had a rod break,” she said.

With the rod ruined, she grabbed the line and painstakingly pulled the shark in by hand.
