I hope that the book gets thrown at this bunch of yobbos.

It’s been illegal here for a good many years. I’m with you on throwing the book at them.

It is indeed good to hear that the humble Raccoon has been appointed the official animal of the Coronavirus Pandemic.

My intended, the one & only Muriel Miggins, was quite into wearing masks as I recall, but usually when we were holding balls.

... the Czech police involved in the situation say they are still looking for the angry deer that charged the hunter, ripped his sleeve and inadvertently snagged the strap of the .22-caliber Hornet rifle in its large antlers.

A racing pigeon has lost it's way home.

Pigeon spreads its wings to fly from Alabama to a Melbourne backyard.

Or was it absconding? But it is believed to have hitched a ride on a ship.

Bear chases skier down a mountain in Romania.

Frightening footage has emerged from Predeal, Romania of horrified onlookers watching as a bear chased a lone skier down a mountain.

The video was taken from the chairlift as ski and snowboard enthusiasts shouted urgently at the skier while making their way back to the top.

According to local media, the quick-thinking individual ditched his backpack and threw it to the side in an effort to distract the bear, which police say likely saved the man’s life as the four-legged hunter stopped to investigate.

Cheers.

Aw, the bear just wanted to play, a question I ask why wasn't the bear hibernating?

Even in bed you arn't safe from Aussie wildlife wanting to kill you.

Alice Springs girl bitten by king brown snake twice in bed.

A 10-year-old girl is recovering in ICU after she was bitten twice by a king brown snake in her bed on Monday night.

The Alice Springs girl was rushed to hospital about 10pm after copping the two bites, one on each foot.

Snake catcher Rex Neindorf said a bite by a king brown, also known as a mulga snake, was “very painful” and the girl “deserved a bravery award” for how she dealt with the terrifying situation.

“When snakes are inside homes they follow scent trails and this one had followed either a skin, gecko or mouse scent into the room and unfortunately gone up into the little girl’s bed,” he said.

“When inside the bed she’s obviously moved her foot and the snake’s gone bang.

“She’s then pushed with her other foot immediately and it bit her on the other foot which is extremely rare, to cop two bites from a mulga.”

Cheers.

Some unusual spectators turned up for a tennis match down under.

Only in Australia could animal invasions stop a tennis match.

Cheers.

Dogs are mysteriously turning blue and pink in Russian city.
The bizarre phenomenon has occurred near an abandoned chemical plant that once manufactured highly toxic hydrocyanic acid.

No mention of any blue kitties.

These little critters are becoming a real problem again here down under. :-(

Coonamble farmer shares video of mice overrunning her NSW property.

That's 250km SW of here, but even here they're chewing up the Ratsak like it's going out of fashion. :-O

Another story from down under.

Snake catcher finds dozens of snake skins in roof of Gold Coast home.

Snake Catchers Brisbane & Gold Coast’s Reid Newell was called to a Currumbin home last week, where he made the disturbing find, telling The Courier-Mailhe “roughly counted about 57 snake skins”.

A photo he took “was only some of the sheds I pulled out”, he said.

“I couldn’t say how many snakes it was from, but it definitely wasn’t one. It wasn’t just from the one species either, there was carpet python sheds in there, and also common tree snake sheds,” Mr Newell added.

That is a scary thought. Snakes in the roof. At least it is not squirrels and raccoons.
