So many clips being shown of UFO objects from military sources. Listening to audio, our guys are jabbering non-stop between aircraft and the ground. So are the "aliens" talking? What RF energy is present that might indicate communications? Can we use similar resources to SETI and search for communications between these objects and their brethren? Or are they just listening to Classic Rock? Helping where I can. Hindering everywhere else. |

If we posit an extraterrestrial presence at Earth, we have to assume that their communications is not straightforward and obvious, or it would have been discovered already. Some secure form of radio communications among such extraterrestrials is conceivable. Perhaps messages in short quick bursts that could pass for bits of noise to our uninitiated ears. They might switch rapidly from one frequency to another on a prearranged plan to maintain secure communications. We know this as 'frequency hopping'. Since the UFO phenomenon, as a whole, at least suggests the desire for an elusive presence, neither totally hidden, nor overtly present, such a scheme of communications seems a reasonable supposition. They could easily adjust the degree of security, based on changing circumstances among ourselves. For all we know things like the famous 'wow signal' could have been an instance where their communications, if not its content, was briefly revealed, perhaps in order to keep us interested. |

Here's an interesting article. They consulted a scientific expert on hypersonic cruise missiles. He explains, in a very clear manner, why secret Chinese or Russian devices of this sort are not a workable explanation for the UFO reports associated with the recently released U.S. Navy videos. This supposed explanation has been making the rounds recently, once it was confirmed that the U.S. military was not the source of the craft reported, and that these were not simply optical illusions, defects in detection equipment, or other mundane causes. https://www.vice.com/en/article/y3d3mm/ufos-hypersonic-weapons-defense-officials |

It's simple physics. Nothing moving at hypersonic speeds can turn on a dime. If you could follow the turn of even a SR-71 it would cover most of the sky. It's simple physics. Nothing moving at hypersonic speeds can turn on a dime. If you could follow the turn of even a SR-71 it would cover most of the sky.That is true of a material object. However, my example of a rapidly slewing searchlight on high clouds would exhibit this capability. A fast moving fighter"s radar hitting clouds or water vapor would also do the same as would a rapidly sweeping ships radar. |

Yes, enough has already been revealed to cause the line about--'no evidence of extraterrestrial intelligence' is these reports to ring rather hollow. If flying machines are observed, which can simply dispense with the laws of physics, at least as we know them, then a technology superior to any on this planet presumably exists. I feel justified in assuming that the the U.S. Navy knows how to properly interpret its own radar data. |

Who are these mysterious experts and what are they expert in and how did they acquire their expertise . The only people who say that they are out there are those most likely to profit from the pseudo religion. I suspect that many expert clergy men would tell you that there is a god in heaven as well. "They" may well be out there somewhere in the Cosmos--however these spotty reports of UFO's over the years are not "Them" and they are not here. Please prove me wrong. |

Herr Wiggo. What I have found is that the caption of your original reference is in error. These experts in various fields have opined only that ET's probably exist somewhere out there --even expressing my belief that if they exist then they are likely to be too far away to notice or to find. None of the respondents opined that the current bruhaha was due to ET's visit here on Earth. Therefore this article was engaging --by it's provocative title, in buzzord bingo to lure aficianados and tin hats in to have a read. Nuff Said |
