So the president of the United States is telling people "Don't be afraid" of Covid-19, even going as far as removing his mask.

So to someone here in the UK, is he saying that everyone on the USA that tests positive will receive the same "world-class medical care 24/7" as the president, also is he saying that this treatment will be free to everyone.

I only know few Americans personally, but do know that the cost of medical insurance is something that can be a problem. I was surprised to find that medical insurance can come with an "excess" meaning you have to pay the first set amount of any medical treatment.

Unless he is saying treatment is free to all, then his "Don't be afraid" is gong to ring hollow for many and likely upset families of those who have lost someone to Covid-19.

In the real world, not some "twitter" lined golden cloud, I would expect to hear calls for his resignation for making such a thoughtless banal statement.
