After a very quick scan (emphasis VERY QUICK) it would appear that he has used the income from his few profitable companies to prop up his extravagant lifestyle and his pet projects (which in the main are loosing money hand over fist). Again, at first glance, it would appear this money is not being transferred using a huge umbrella company, but direct inter-company transfers without goods or services being "delivered" - which is highly dubious to say the least.

And he was claiming Tax Deductions because his businesses were loosing money hand over fist.
He also claims some of his properties are businesses for tax and charity purposes but uses them as family homes, the Seven Springs estate in Westchester County, N.Y. is a prime example. After not being able to convert it into a golf course and club, he made it a conservation project and claimed a $21 million chariatable tax deduction, he then classified the estate as an investment property,not a personal property and wrote off £2.2 million in property taxes, individuals can only write off $10,000/year. Yep, his true nature is finally being unveiled.

Trump's taxes tell a tale of debt and desperation.

The President has one major asset: his name. Trump's race against time and his creditors, possibly including the tax collector (pending the results of his ongoing IRS audit), depends on his ability to keep borrowing against his name to pay off his debts and finance his lifestyle -- all until he dies and leaves the whole mess for his heirs to clean up. Times reporting suggests that this game was nearly up for Trump before the 2016 election, and this may be why he ran for office: to boost the value of his brand, to keep the scheme going.

Lo and behold, Trump won the presidency in 2016, putting off his own personal day of reckoning. But for the whole time he has been living rent free in the White House, Trump has been a desperate man, facing massive debts and looking for someone else to pay them off.
In a twist of fate, the voters who gave Trump a financial reprieve can now make him face his own financial reckoning, on his own -- for once in his life.

But it appears as though the Times may only have found the tip of the iceberg here.
Why? Because of the $26 million that Trump wrote off as "consulting fees" between 2010 and 2018, none is allocated to any specific person or entity. (The Times figured out the $747,622 payment by matching an amount paid in Trump's tax returns to the same sum reported by Ivanka Trump on her financial disclosure forms filed when she went to work in the White House in 2017.)
So we don't know who received the other $25-ish million that Trump wrote off to "consulting fees" during that time. (Worth noting: The Times reports that Trump wrote off roughly 20% of all income he made on projects over that time to "consulting fees.")
Given the apparent payment to Ivanka Trump revealed by the Times, however, it's not terribly far-fetched to wonder whether all (or much) of those "consulting fees" went through a similar process: Paid to one of Trump's offspring who were serving as both managers of these operations for the Trump Organization and as consultants to the projects as well.

By the time all the local, state and federal tax cases against him and his many companies are all over they may just need to build a "TRUMP" jail to lock them all up in.
