As the National Guard is under the control of each state, sort of a tossup.

I would not count on military support. He has already alienated many of the "top brass" (edit: here's an example a couple of days later), and the branches have much stronger codes of ethics. I hope we never get to the point at which any of the assumptions about the behaviour of the military in the event of Trump attempting to remain in office if (when) he is defeated in the forth coming election. But I have my fears that those assumptions could be tested :-(

Facebook removes Trump post falsely claiming children are 'almost immune' to Covid-19

(CNN Business)Facebook on Wednesday said it had removed a post from President Donald Trump's page for containing false claims about Covid-19.
The post was a video of an interview the President gave to Fox News on Wednesday morning.
"This video includes false claims that a group of people is immune from Covid-19 which is a violation of our policies around harmful Covid misinformation," Facebook spokesperson Andy Stone said in a statement Wednesday evening.

Stone added the specific comments that had run afoul of Facebook's rules were Trump's false claims about children being almost immune to the virus.
The same clip appears to have also been posted to Twitter by the Trump campaign, which was then shared from the President's main account.

Deutsche Bank gave Trump financial records to New York prosecutors.

A report emerged Wednesday that Vance’s office subpoenaed the German lender last year in what the New York Times said was a sign that their criminal investigation into Trump’s business practices is more wide-ranging than previously known.

The report noted that this appeared to be the first instance of a criminal inquiry involving Trump and his dealings with Deutsche Bank.

As I type there are 87 days to the election, so that's over 87k more deaths, more likely to be nearer 100k, which brings the total deaths to over quarter of a million by election day.

Perhaps Trump has made America great again - the greatest incubator and deliver of Covid-19 to date on the planet. Which is a very perverted view of greatness in my book :-(
