... Any attempt by China to seize Taiwan and TSMC might be futile anyway, if the Taiwanese government were to adopt the scorched-earth policy proposed last year in a paper from a US Army War College. This suggested that Taiwan's best deterrent against potential Chinese aggression is to put in place a credible strategy to destroy its semiconductor manufacturing facilities if an invasion were to occur, thus depriving China of the supply of much of its semiconductors...

Taiwan is seen as vital by both the US and China because it accounts for such a large part of the world's semiconductor manufacturing capacity...

Sounds like China is going to waste oil, bought from Putin, to finance his war on Ukraine.

Well Xi is really chucking a hissy fit now.

What I am afraid of, is that Ms. Pelosi's visit to Taiwan could be an error, and not a thing she should have done.

China is almost a superpower today, with a rich and different history other than western cultures.

Therefore it also could be unpredictable as a nation, and we do not know what next could be happening.

Different areas of interest, and also different blocks for the same, when also different Ideologies.

It is Ideologies which creates for war, or the groundwork for it, and here the sometimes mad thinking happening in someone's head.

Believe in science for that of stated meaning, and sometimes you could be an atheist for not any believer, but you could still end up moderating.

Is Xi's plans for his country failing?

China has unveiled a multibillion-dollar plan to rescue its tanking economy – but experts say it won’t be enough to stop the crisis.

China made headlines this week after announcing an ambitious $A63 billion, 19-point plan to bolster its ailing financial system.

But according to a string of experts, it might not be enough to salvage the fortunes of the world’s second-largest economy.

On Wednesday, Chinese media reported that the State Council had decided upon the strategy to stabilise the economy, which has been seriously weakened by the Covid pandemic and ongoing lockdowns alongside the nation’s alarming real estate crunch, and now a record-breaking heatwave and drought, which has sparked mass factory shutdowns.

Under the scheme, billions will be spent on infrastructure to stimulate the economy, along with a string of other measures....

The ordinary Chinese people are already getting restless and by some reports that is expected to grow.

... And PooTin being at war with the entire world ain't helping anyones' economy or wellbeing...
