Disassembly has been completed, it now looks like someone has started putting a flat pack together. :-D

The frame looks good in black gloss.

Along with the steel bedhead sections and the tops of the coach bolts, but now I'm enjoying a late LLB before I breakout the plastic wood filler to fix a few real eyesores as I make room for the old girl to get back into the shed. ;-)

Cheers.

Virus brings Mexican toilet paper to US
Part of the reason: People are doing more of their bathroom business at home instead of at work or school. Bathroom tissue sales are up 22% so far this year, according to research firm Nielsen.

This is my third day of "Spring Cleaning" and reorganising, but doing it on top of normal Hump Day domestic duties is back breaking work for an old fellow (I almost did that on Monday moving a lot of stuff around) and enough to throw 1's shoulder out (actually I may have done that cleaning the back window this morning), but after 6hrs (and 2 coffee breaks) I'm buggered and ready for a beer (or 3).

I must say though that the place does smell a lot fresher after 4 months of being mostly closed up to keep the heat in and the winter out.

Cheers.

Well my spring cleaning and reorginising of the whole shed was finally completed last and people who havn't been here for a couple of months can't believe the difference that I've made. :-)

I had my shop/summertime flat on the roster to do this just passed weekend, but my left shoulder gave out. I couldn't even lift a cup of coffee or a beer with that arm, let alone get it anywhere close to my mouth, and not being able to get my hair back into its pony tail for 2 days meant problems keeping it out of said coffees and beers. :-(

Even though it was still a painful job to do I was able to get the pony tail done this morning so at least I won't be trying to keep it out of my face and everything else today, but I'll still be keeping the ice bricks/pack on the shoulder all day again, and I can lift a drink to my mouth today with it (just) so I'll see about doing last weekend's job next weekend. ;-)

Cheers.

... I couldn't even lift a cup of coffee or a beer with that arm...

Oh noooo!

Beer makes for very good muscle relaxant. Also helps to enjoy with a few peanuts...

... get my hair back into its pony tail...

Yes... I'm considering that after the silly months of 'COVID lockdown'... I've gone from the very practical eco Scott Manley look to something more like Hair Bear out of the Hair Bear Bunch... Either that or I should invest in videoconf headphones that don't get so easily tangled up and scalping me when being removed after whatever videoconf...

Stay nimble!

Can the Doc recommend an evening beer to be remediated by yoga at dawn? ;-)

Good luck,
Martin

Thanksgiving tables could have smaller turkeys this year, experts say. Here’s why
If the turkey you serve at Thanksgiving is smaller than usual this year, blame the pandemic.

Some grocery stores are ordering smaller birds as they anticipate more intimate family meals, multiple news outlets reported this week.

No lockdown here anymore but the virus is still spreading like hell. Right now, Brussels is the worst, then comes Flanders-West, where I live.
I stay home a lot to protect myself and when I go out, I always wear my mouthmask, also on the streets.

Americans again stockpile groceries as COVID-19 changes future of shopping, survey says
Inmar’s survey found 57% of shoppers are considering adding to the stockpile they originally created when the pandemic began. And while curbside pickup and delivery services have become all the rage, 55% of shoppers plan to stockpile goods with in-store shopping.

... New additions to Americans’ stockpile lists include frozen dinners, pasta, snacks and cleaning products, according to the Inmar survey.

Well during these COVID times I've just bought another 3 lengths of steel for another project that will keep me occupied and will see the rest of my corrugated roofing steel used up for another awning that this time will go over the front sliding door of my shed so that I can have that door open during an easterly driven rain event like the 1 that saw the floor inside in the shed partially flooded last Thursday here.

Cheers.

Well its not quite finished, but I'll do that tomorrow, though I have no more offcuts of corrugated left to get in my way now.

And I didn't need all 3 lengths of steel so I'll get a credit back on 1 tomorrow morning. :-D

Cheers.

Throughout the lockdowns, been reading & watching movies. Recently, been watching some of the classics.
While watching 1 or 2, my memory focused on a particular film that I had watched years ago on TV but sadly not in my collection.
At the time, could not think of the title, until this morning.
So Googled it. No joy. Well, it came up with the movie, but not the one I wanted.
Was quite sure that Bogie was the main star but the 1 Google found was the 1960 movie with Peter Falk & Stuart Whitman.

Got that 1. :-)
I did recall that I had it on video so scoured all my files & found the spreadsheet that listed them.
Took a bit of time as over several K's to look through.
It was Murder Inc 1951.

Why does Hollywood have to mess around with titles to suit their audiences?
In the UK, it is Murder Inc.
In the US it is The Enforcer.

The Enforcer for me is a Clint Eastwood “Dirty Harry” movie.
