Apparently there is going to be wide spread need for additional support.

It sounds like every place that has allowed indoor crowds is having increased Cornvid19 infection rates.

So how do you telecommute to your favorite bar and hang out?

Well? Video conferencing with a bunch of friends while being your own barkeep is about it.

I don't think that it's expensive Vic and seeing that I already had 8 bedposts here taking up space, that were leftover from my daughters' old double bunks, so why just have a 4 poster when 1 can have a 6 poster?

The metal bedhead sections also came from those same double bunks. ;-)

Cheers.

So, we've got a few Christmas trees coming through at work. Must be on sale at this time of year or summut. As for crunching for Einstein@home I've got a tablet and two phones that can't chat with the servers over there. Internets OK though.

[edit] PS could one of the head honchos unlock this thread as apparently i don't have enough RAC or Credit to report it to teh moderinos :)[/edit]

Some good news in troubling times.

Meet Sir Tom.

Queen Elizabeth II knights 100-year-old coronavirus fundraiser Captain Tom Moore.

Queen Elizabeth II has knighted Captain Tom Moore, recognising the 100-year-old for lifting Britain's spirits during the gloom of the coronavirus pandemic by raising millions of pounds for health workers.

The World War II veteran raised some 33 million pounds ($59.2 million) for the National Health Service (NHS) in April by walking 100 laps of his garden with the aid of a walking frame in the run-up to his birthday.

At an open-air investiture at Windsor Castle, the 94-year-old Queen smiled as she dubbed Sir Tom on both shoulders with her knighting sword, which previously belonged to her father, George VI.

Sir Tom, in a dark suit, stood holding onto a wheeled walking frame.

"I have been overwhelmed by the many honours I have received over the past weeks, but there is simply nothing that can compare to this,'' he tweeted after the ceremony.
Cheers.

Isn't it nice to see people raising money for a change.

Well done Captain Sir Tom.

I spent 10hrs in my brewroom yesterday to finish scraping tile glue off the wall over the sink. Maybe tomorrow I'll clean up the tiles that came off and stabilise the wall with a timber wedge or 3.

A few more screws and then I can pull it all part so that the steel can be painted black and all the timber clear coated. ;-)

Cheers.

Well if he had a little more selective it could have worked. The money was intended to keep americans working.
Lamborghini Urus - (Helped Italian works) should have bought a Chevy Corvette
Ford F-350 No problem that's legit
Rolex watch - (Helped Swiss) Do we make any decent watches?
real estate No problem if it was in the US.
strip clubs, keeping the american dream alive. It was stimulus money after all.
bars, This is iffy, what was he drinking. Whisky, moonshine, vodka, ok. Scotch, or any of the sissy french drinks see ya in Leavenworth.
