Anyhow I'm going to enjoy 2-3 more beers now while the old body locks up. :-/

How is the weather now? Did it warm back up?

Going for our 3rd 18C winter days in a row here in the highlands down under and with some luck I'll have the roof on my house's backdoor awning/porch before the rain gets here later today.

Cheers.

The rain is bucketing down here this morning and that awning is doing its job very well keeping that backdoor dry. :-)

Cheers.

Our town water storage is a 10.5m diameter 30.5m tall (35' x 100') concrete tower, with a roof that was added several years back, into which our river water is pumped into (hence the reason behind rainwater tanks on houses here), though they do provide a bit better filtration these days so that it doesn't look like a flat ale coming out of the taps (though the chlorine odour can be a bit too strong at times), but it sits halfway down the hill so if the level in it drops down to halfway us at the top of the hill get no water at all. That's never happened in the 17+ years that I've been here for thankfully, but with near on 30,000L (7500 short gallons or 6670 long gallons) stored here I doubt that I would've worried about it for a while.

Cheers.

Well I ran out of time and legs, but I got most of my house's backdoor awning completed except for 7 roofing screws that I need to get right on top of it to do.

And it is a lot cleaner than my yard too. :)

My friend Mark and I have 2-4 items to finish up on rebuilding a backdoor porch that is basically an emergency exit.

Then we have some bracing for my front porch and replace about 25% of the surface of his front porch.

All while staying OUT of the HEAT!

    Most Transactions Per Person:

    Minneapolis: 6.5

    Fewest Transactions Per Person:

While the figures for number of transactions is interesting without comparison with log term figures it is fairly meaningless.

Oh the humility... Czech nudists told to wear face masks by police
... police were called in to remind people that while it was OK to get naked in designated public places, mouths needed to be covered.

Bald men might be at greater risk of dying from COVID-19, studies say. Here’s why:
International researchers studying global data on COVID-19 patients have found that in general, the more male hormones called androgens someone has, the easier it is for SARS-CoV-2 to enter and take over their immune systems.

And bald men have more of these hormones than men with full manes, and women.

Well I did enjoy my 1st LLB at the top pub today on my way back from the P.O. while I was waiting for some cold gal to dry, but it has also been a very productive time while the sun shines here over the last 2 days. ;-)

A few more fine adjustments and then I'll coachbolt those bedposts on before having a go at cutting and shunting about 205-210mm out of the middle of these.

Unsold Guinness beer used to fertilize Christmas trees during the lockdown
The beer may have gone stale, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have its uses.

The beer-maker had millions of liters of its famous stout returned as the pandemic caused many countries in the world to enact strict lockdown orders,
... Unfortunately, taking the beer back left Guinness with a problem: how to safely dispose of the product in an environmentally friendly way.

I've been sorta productive over the last couple of days (once the old spinal cord got back into working order).

Yesterday.

Because there was no cold gal left in town I just had to resort to plain grey primer yesterday so a top coat of some appliance white (because I had it) was applied today and then I got onto my other project.

I hope that I'll have enough dowel here to fill all those old holes with, but it's no use worrying about that just yet as there's more work to do and ideas happening. :-D

Tomorrow I'll be back to that last awning/porch before any rain turns up. ;-)

Cheers.
