Hi, I was looking through some recent Tasks and WU's from a few of the top contributors to this project, when I spotted these 2:

https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=3948118974
and
https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=3948381306

I'm wondering if there might be others like this, where a _2 or higher replication has not been created after an unsuccessful outcome ?

I'm sure Eric K is probably busy, so I didn't want to bother him about just these 2, but I think it would be useful if the Project Staff were made aware of unusual events like this.

I suggest that if you spot any more WU's or Tasks that need intervention, please post them here, so that whatever script needs to be run can be used at an appropriate time.

I have a lot of WU like this on: https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=3844487833

Already crunched and validated but the other extra wingmen has a date line on June 17.

What is going to happening? The WU will remain around until June or it will be cleared earlier?

Without manual intervention, it will be there until it times out in June.
Got plenty of them myself. The odd one or 2 for mid June.

How about the first 2 that I originally highlighted ?
They appear to be stuck until a _2 or _3 is created, But nothing has happened to them on the servers since 8th April !

Yep, they need a kick from Eric.
It will be easier to find them all once we get to late May and the worst of the present backlog have reached their deadlines, timed out & been cleared.

AND This one:

WU ID: 3875421048 - Validate Error.

Been sitting in "Error" List for quite awhile, now. I'm wondering IF we really need to wait for the Final Wingman to Report, Time Out, or Abandon the Unit for it to 'disappear' from the "Error" List.

[EDIT:] Also, in viewing the Stderr_txt Report on all the Completed Wingmen and myself; we are all quite close in our Best Pulse counts.

Like all the other Tasks, it won't clear until all have been returned or timed out.
