personally as a mac person, I didn't see anything urgent in there. I'm going to wait until I run out of seti WUs before I upgrade.

There are a lot of important changes for Mac users who have upgraded to OS X 10.5 'Catalina', but they've also been made available as a refreshed BOINC v7.14.4

[10.15.x] NOT [10.5.x].... Catalina is currently at Official Release 10.15.4 right now.
10.15.5 is in Beta. I NEVER go to Beta....

While looking over My list of Macs I've seen quite a few receiving the "Finish File" Error, especially those running Rosetta. It seems the Error is more common the more CPU tasks you run. Since I don't run CPU tasks, I haven't noticed this apparently now common Error become common. I'd suggest any Mac user running CPU tasks update to 7.16.x, I think the Finish File Error was fixed back in 7.16.3, so, you may not see it in the Release notes...but it's there.

I'm waiting to see if this Host gets updated to see if the Errors go away, https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/results.php?hostid=3725845&offset=0&show_names=0&state=6

I'm out of Seti WUs and my backup project (Rosetta) is down for maintenance, so I'm out of all WUs, which makes it a good time to upgrade boinc. Now that I'm current, it is time to find a backup backup project (Einstein?)

GPUGRID is doing medical work if you have a GPU.

And World Community Grid has a sign up posting if you want to be notified when their Covid 19 Project comes live in the next few weeks
