I have had as an alternative project WCG in my computer for years. With the end of data here, I was reviewing my settings and found a link to OpenPandemics as a pop up. One good thing about WCG projects is you can control what runs on your computer. This is important as some projects are resource hogs and you may not have an interest in other projects. You may set the resource share to zero so the project will only run when your computer lacks work for other projects. It may take a few days for them to be up and running and there are other projects doing similar research so this isn't your only option..
