All of my GPU tasks are now_2 or greater, including my first AstroPulse on SETI main project. I previously ran a few AstroPulse on Beta

I've still got 7 CPU tasks from initial replication on Windows, and about 10 on my 8 core Android tablet.

I might even put one of my 8 core Android TV boxes back to work to pick up a few re-sends

I am still getting re-sends so you might want to let your Seti@Home just "idle" for a while till we get them all cleaned out.

Finished my last work unit as well (actually reported the last 3 at once now, but that was the last one processed). There may be some more resends, and there were a few so far, but suspended the rest and did those first, knowing they'll most likely be overflows and finish right away, which was indeed the case.

Sadly (as if the hibernation itself wouldn't be enough of that), the timing meant I'll be left with only a few consecutive valid tasks, and therefore unable to get many right away if the project will ever continue, because for some reason my computer sets the time one hour ahead one more time, a week after the DST change, and when I manually have it check internet time to correct itself, BOINC hangs. No idea why Windows does that, not sure why BOINC does that (since it doesn't when the time's set 1h back automatically for the DST change), also don't know whether it's something that was fixed in a more recent BOINC version (I stayed on 7.6.22), but it's something that happens each year and I keep forgetting.
If I'd remember, I'd close BOINC first and see if it can restart properly, but since I don't, I have Windows correct the time, and then check BOINC and see the progress of running tasks not advancing, though in task manager they still seem to be running for a while. In event log, I see an entry saying system time changed and clearing timeouts (I think? rebooted since then), but nothing more after that, and after a while CPU use also goes down to 0. Try to close BOINC, the icon vanishes from the notification area but the processes remain running. Force them closed, start it again, tasks seem to continue from the last checkpoint for a moment but then those running at the time of the mess error out.
So two errored tasks is one thing, but having them close to the end and being left with a permanent very low valid tasks count really sucks... What a moment for it... :/

As for what next, on Milkyway@home now. Used it before when S@h had a longer period when it couldn't provide enough work, several years ago. Think I'm getting work from another app now, since I recall back then that it was a WU using both CPU cores and finishing in minutes, couldn't even "stock" a day's work, while now I got 100 WUs right away and they seem to take a little over 1h each, each running on one core. But in terms of RAM (which is my main issue, on a 32-bit system with 4 GB total and 3.19 usable), it's basically nothing, 4 MB / task (actually 3 MB task, 1 MB conhost.exe which also runs for each), almost 10x less than S@h even. But let's see how it'll continue. Odd deadline though, 12 days. You'd expect 10, 14, 15, but 12?

Yep, and not only that, he/she either got a hold of the spoofed app or was able to spoof it because it says he/she has 64 GPUs. No way! That's a 3rd or 4th generation Intel CPU and the MB cannot handle THAT many GPUs.

I'd be willing to bet that they just shut down the PC when SETI went into hibernation. Those tasks will sit there until the deadline is reached and the server(s) will have to send them out to other hosts. Like mine, which I still have set up to get GPU tasks. :)

I have been living with a 2 day deadline for the last 5 years. My MAC is so powerful that I can only grab a total of 200 work units which between the processors and GPU will only keep it busy for 2 days. I didn't really care in the past because I just wanted enough to ride out an extended outage however I have fallen back to my alternate project even though there is still work to do here. As my computer has reached the point where it's checking in once a day, it's likely I have seen my last work unit here unless a massive amount is freed up.

The odds are this isn't the only hoarder out there as software like this tends to exist in the underground. If enough people did it, this may be one of the reasons why the project required such a large server just to service our computers.
