If "space related projects" includes Astrophysics then Einstein@Home should be included. And probably Cosmology(sp)@Home. Tom A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association). |

Hello. Well it's interesting. When I started this with Seti @ Home Classic I never would dream I'd still be doing it after all of these years. Looks like I'll run out of work units both GPU and CPU today sometime and then that will be it. Hopefully all those cpu cycles will contribute to the science in some small way. It's a bit bittersweet, but it's been such a large part of my life I can hardly believe it's "over, for now". -Todd |

Oh - one more thing - if some future project does happen, how will we be notified of it? -Todd |

Oh - one more thing - if some future project does happen, how will we be notified of it? If you are continuing to run other BOINC projects, just stay attached to SETI. You will probably continue to receive occasional re-sends for the next few weeks, and you should still get important notices. |

Rosetta is generating more work than usual, but has enough new requests for it that they are USUALLY out of it. They appear to have the only work under BOINC for helping the COVID-19 research. Their new application version requires more memory. You can do more with each task by setting a higher target time for tasks, but changing the target time too fast tends to give strange results in how fast the progress is going. On another subject, I've lost the information in how long I've participated in SETI@Home, but it was at least 19 years. |

Thanks @Eric for all your work and the work of your team! I've been along for a ride. I will keep SETI@Home listening when you come back, I will be there. Nearly made it to 10.000.000 :) Winethu |

Crunched my final work unit this morning. Hail and farewell. Not the way I thought this would end. Such is life . . . so it goes. |

Sorry, I was in the hospital and couldn't post earlier. I just wanted to say that I'll miss Seti@home. Good luck to everyone, and thanks for letting me help. - Jim |

If "space related projects" includes Astrophysics then Einstein@Home should be included. Einstein was already mentioned ;) Good call on Cosmology though, I don't know what that one's about! The last chunk of new SETI@home work has gone out. You must have been one of the 1st to register? What was the 1st day? Will we be able to finish the Tasks already downloaded on our PC's? I was hoping to finish the tasks for SETI@home on the two PC's that still have tasks to complete. Thanks |

Thank you SETI-TEAM for being part of the world-wide-crunching-team to find signals from space. Hope to hear from you in the near future during completing the backend analysis! Greetings from Dresden Sputnik beep-beep-beep... |

Right now finished crunching last astropulse. Good bye SETI. More than 15 years together. I'll miss you. http://boincstats.com/signature/0/user/2449327/project/sig.png http://boincstats.com/signature/0/team/88019747/project/sig.png |

I am still getting re-sends so you might want to let your Seti@Home just "idle" for a while till we get them all cleaned out. Tom A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association). |
