Exit status -1073740791 (0xC0000409) STATUS_STACK_BUFFER_OVERRUN Smth new. It's first iGPU task I attempted to run on new device. stderr, looks quite OK.... https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/result.php?resultid=8687693716 BOINC "feature" ?... Well, it's a classic Windows runtime error - it'll be on the WindowsNT exceptions list. Run outside BOINC and see if you can get a stack trace? |

I'll see if second task fails and then start full-scale troubleshooting as you propose. SETI apps news We're not gonna fight them. We're gonna transcend them. |

It also looks like you are trying to run the intel iGPU at the same time you are running CPU tasks. Historically that usually slows down the entire system production. I am speculating here but I wonder if increasing the size of the iGPU buffer might get rid of the error? Tom A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association). |

Historically that usually slows down the entire system production. Depends on CPU/iGPU performance ratio. For slow GPUs lack of full CPU core can't be compensated by GPU production speedup. But if GPU just fails - it's counter-productive, indeed. SETI apps news We're not gonna fight them. We're gonna transcend them. |

Probably some ("imprecise" said) too big return type somewhere ? Some issue that would cause only a warning at compile time. _\|/_ U r s |

Probably some ("imprecise" said) too big return type somewhere ? Some issue that would cause only a warning at compile time. Hi, Urs! So glad to hear from you!!! Meeting at the end of the world indeed :) I'm starting to install and configure backup project (Einstein@home for now) on newly revived hosts. So still don't investigate that error further.
