Historically that usually slows down the entire system production. I am speculating here but I wonder if increasing the size of the iGPU buffer might get rid of the error? Depends on CPU/iGPU performance ratio. For slow GPUs lack of full CPU core can't be compensated by GPU production speedup. But if GPU just fails - it's counter-productive, indeed. Meeting at the end of the world indeed :) I'm starting to install and configure backup project (Einstein@home for now) on newly revived hosts. So still don't investigate that error further.
