I decided to compute again for SETI as a proper send-off, but my desktop has been working tasks for 2-3 days now and still isn't showing up to view details or tasks. My account shows credit going up, so my tasks seem to be getting through, but it's not showing up on the data that reports to BAM! or the other BOINC statistics websites. I tried patiently waiting but 2+ days is starting t make me wonder if something is wrong. I have the checkbox to show computers on website checked, but not sure if there's anything else. Any help would be appreciated, thank you! |

Hi Kjohnson, The replica database is behind by 4 days and I believe that that is where places like BOINCStats gets their data from. If and when the replica database catches up, your computers will show up. :) Have a great day! :) Siran CAPT Siran d'Vel'nahr - L L & P _\\// Winders 11 OS? "What a piece of junk!" - L. Hello Siran, Does this mean our credits are also behind by four days, or is the credits I see when I login to my account here actually up to date? Trying to hit a specific milestone before the project ends and having a hard time figuring out where I'm at if the credits are backlogged. Thanks! Jed |

Hello Siran, credits on the leaderboard are out of date. but stats on your user page and computer host list are up to date Seti@Home classic workunits: 29,492 CPU time: 134,419 hours |

Thanks Siran, I checked the server status and it was ~96 hours behind the production database, but was not sure that could be the issue. Thank you! |

Noticed something new that appears related, so I didn't want to create a new thread since this might resolve soon anyway. The BOINC stats aggregating websites haven't pulled any SETI@Home updates in a few days, I can see on the status page that the replica database shows as disabled. Will the replica database be updated again to allow final updates to BOINC aggregating sites? Thanks! |

I expect that the staff will get it working again eventually I think the SETI Beta project was down for about a week That came back online around the same time that the Replica went offline Probably a coincidence, but maybe not. [Edit] Congratulations on your recent milestone, I see that you have just passed 1 million total SETI credit. |

Thank you Keith. When I read SETI@Home was winding down, I made it my primary project for all of my GPUs and just by chance happened to cross the 1 million mark by getting some recycled WUs on the 20th. I tried a quick search and saw that the replica database had gone down before, sounds like carolyn had a few hardware issues a while back, but with the project winding down I just wasn't sure if it was temporary this time or part of the hibernation. This was a nice challenge to end the '19-'20 computing season as we're getting to the air conditioning season in OK and power is about to cost a bit more too, so the old double whammy for computing costs. I know it's superficial and trivial, I just wanted to share the milestone with the world and BOINC at large. I'm happy that there are the project certificates we can print and once the last of my work units validate I was going to do so with a final total. I think that would make a nice conversation starter for BOINC as this must be the most well known project. |
