From which department? Marketing? Legal? Accounting? Engineering?Oh, I mixed that up... not Boeing's conclusion... but of a Robert Stallard of Vertical Research Partners. The article was first published by Bloomberg. I assume these folks have some credibility in business news... and details. |

Who did they bribe to get away with murder? Boeing won’t face criminal charge over 737 Max crashes that killed hundreds of people DALLAS (AP) — Boeing will not face a criminal conspiracy charge over two 737 Max jetliner crashes that killed 346 people, after a federal judge in Texas on Thursday granted the government’s request to dismiss the case. |

... And what fractional percentage of compensation do the crash victims' families get from that? ... And what stops anyone in Boeing from again profiting from the death of the passengers and crew of Boeing aircraft? All in a deadly greedy world?... ... And what stops anyone in Boeing from again profiting from the death of the passengers and crew of Boeing aircraft?Did they profit from risking the 737 Max crisis? I don't think so. They very definitely greatly profited up until some time after the disasters caught up with the Boeing company. Certain perpetrators then retired financially happy. They very definitely greatly profited up until some time after the disasters caught up with the Boeing company. That doesn't appear to be a sustainable corporate policy; the market is known to mercilessly punish irresponsible, risky practices in the risk-averse aviation industry. One would assume Boeing's supervisory boards understand that. Certain perpetrators then retired financially happy.... which is unacceptable indeed, as it promotes such practices everywhere. |

That is the exact intent of "Corporation" when a king thought it up to reward his friends!Certain perpetrators then retired financially happy.... which is unacceptable indeed, as it promotes such practices everywhere. |

Boeing's "Exemptions".... And... "... potentially catastrophic results..." See, hear for yourselves: What’s Going On With The Last 737 MAX’s?! That is quite a summary... Also note the stark contrast between the light bulb indicators continuing to be used in the Boeing 737 aircraft as compared to the present day requirements of a more helpful, and much more pilot-friendly, EICAS display. Wow. Is that all for real? Fly safe with that?? Martin See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

We can hope that [insert demon political party] is all hurrying back to DC on a Boeing aircraft, run by a budget airline with empty ATC facilities! |

Perhaps people are so shocked at an aircraft manufacturer owning up to having a problem with there being hundreds of deaths? Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Perhaps people are so shocked at an aircraft manufacturer owning up to having a problem with there being hundreds of deaths? I'm sure you mean "without" multiple hundreds of deaths... Also... Airbus identified the problem and have given a totally transparent update very rapidly. No Marketing speak obfuscation prevarication deadly delays involved... AND: Such a fleet-wide fault such as this really is a rare rarity for Airbus. Unlike the death defying game of greedy short term profit regardless of all death defying costs... Fly safe?... Yes Martin & Gary I did mean "without" - fingers not obeying brain :-( Further, Airbus have just announced a check is required on some metal panels installed on about 600 A32x aircraft. No details as to where these panels are located on the airframe, but it appears to be a supplier related QA/QC problem: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c3v19q3r31ro Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Airbus identified the problem and have given a totally transparent update very rapidly. No Marketing speak obfuscation prevarication deadly delays involved... Ahhh... So... For the requirements of "Fiduciary Duty" (also-known-as "greedy short term profit at all costs"), the suggestion there is that to maximise greedy profit, we have the game of: 'A few victims' requires a quick 'clean-up'; 'Too many victims' means endless 'prevarication and obfuscation and go down dragging and screaming through many years through the courts'...? Such cruel inhuman games of Fiduciary Duty and the Directors are untouchable...?? Something has to change for safer flying... Fly safe?... Is this a Boeing problem?Fear, suspicion, naming convenient culprits. What the evidence points to so far seems unimaginable to many. ... Well... This is a recurring 'something' that has caused 'problems' in the recent past: BOMBSHELL: Air India 171 Was Already In Trouble Hours Before Takeoff According To Leaked Documents! If so... Then it may be that those fuel cut-off switches may well not have been touched by the pilots before the fuel cut-off. And the switches themselves may not have failed... My understanding is that for those switches, the computer control on that Boeing does not check for a wiring connection fault, or an earthing fault. Also note that the centre console, that includes those switches, had been swapped out more than once. Suggesting problems with the electrical connections?... After all, this is a little something that Boeing is well known for: Ex-Boeing staff claims electrical faults 'concealed' wrote: ... The Foundation for Aviation Safety claimed the aircraft, which went down in Ethiopia in 2019, had suffered a number of issues, including an "uncommanded roll" at low altitude. More electrical problems found on some Boeing 737 MAX wrote: ... An electrical problem that led to dozens of Boeing 737 MAX jets being suspended from service has widened after engineers found similar grounding flaws elsewhere in the cockpit... Boeing faces new hurdle in 737 MAX electrical grounding issue wrote: ... U.S. air safety officials have asked Boeing Co (BA.N), opens new tab to supply fresh analysis and documentation showing numerous 737 MAX subsystems would not be affected by electrical grounding issues first flagged in three areas of the jet... From my own electrical/electronics experience, I know how a faulty electrical ground can cause a myriad of other highly confusing seemingly random faults elsewhere in the control systems and supposedly grounded connected equipment... Is the cockpit equipment/instruments/control ground part of a thorough self-test throughout a flight?... Surely not some loose connector vibrating ever more loose?... Fly safe??
