Got some 10 WUs since I joined the beta program today, all ran fine I think.

Thanks Mr.Grumpy
A few came in for the GPUs (a pair of '1070ti) on this computer and they appear to have run OK.

Happiness is a warm GPU doing something useful :-)

Oh, and I joined the SETI orphans team

I’m interested in the run behavior of the WCG GPU tasks.

GPU utilization on nvidia cards?
Power consumption?
PCIe bus utilization?
GPU memory utilization?

Task run time?
CPU utilization?

Weird stats.
Been 4th in team for some time, yet FDC now shows me as 3rd?
Nothing changed as far as I can see.

@ Rob & Cavalary, welcome to the team.
Unixchick just 20.5 days away from her 1st year of run time. :-)

Currently I haven't any WCG GPU tasks so can't help you much. Thus I can only answer one of your questions - the penultimate one
Task run time = 3.5 to 6 minutes on my GTX1070ti.

They were all short WU's. Uplinger is working on a batch of longer running WU's which is what they will be going forward with.
For the GPU crunchers, keep your eyes peeled. :-)

@Grumpy, thanks for that, must have missed it.

I got an Emerald badge for crunching more that 3000 tasks on the Cancer Markers project, I know there is a big international project on this theme, but it runs on more powerful computers. Also the Africa Raìnfall project has given me a Bronze badge but those tasks are much longer. Anyway I am glad to do somethng useful.

Little other direction - who is actively participating in MilkyWay project: they run project many years now, original aim was to make some huge 3D map of stars in the Galaxy - still not reached?
Why so long? Or targets changed from those times?

I run Milkyway. The project goals have not really changed, just morphed into more of a Dark Matter/Dark Energy search through analysis of the donor/cannibalized satellite galaxies the MW galaxy has consumed over its existence.

They publish some very nice animations of galaxies being stripped apart and pulled into the Milkyway galaxy occasionally.

Nice, WCG just hit 3rd in my list of projects.
Barring any hiccups, should hit 1st in approx. 10 months. :-)

I am running also QuChemPedIA@home. This is a Linux native project and all Windows hosts have to use VirtualBox. What amazes me that my Windows 10 PC with an Intel i5 9400F is near always faster than its Linux wingmen with much more powerful CPUs. I am about 50th in the RAC ranking list. 94% of its hosts are Linux.

I've got a few of the GPU-Beta tasks. Currently the run-time guesstimator is in pessimistic mode, suggesting runtimes of a couple of hours against five minutes of reality.
Update as I typed the guesstimator jumped closer to reality, suggesting about 25 minutes now, real runtimes still in the region of 5 minutes.

Oh no it hasn't, the next couple are back up to about 100 minutes guesstimate.

what GPU?
GPU Utilization %?
GPU memory use?
any other metrics that seem interesting.

Nothing has changed - see my previous post
https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=85283&postid=2068920

And yet again i was only able to see that the last couple were running, so no chance to get any other metrics.

For once I've managed to get a look at some metrics for a couple of these tasks.
Two GPUs (GTX1070ti), each running single a single task
GPU load is far from stable, jumping between 1% and 99% on a more or less 50% duty cycle. (approx 5sec high, 5sec low).
Temperatures are sitting at around 66C - so well in spec.
Run times are around the 2:30 to 3:30 mins each.

Edit to add:
CPU usage is about core per GPU.

Until WCG releases their application. I'm interested to hear where people would recommend I put my RTX 2070? Running Windows 10
