Was told by my boss that my job was one of those essential ones. So even if they have people shelter in place I’m still going to work.

I live near two Ghost Towns, Calico and now Barstow CA. I've been to Calico Vic. Fascinating day out. Also went to Bodie Ghost Town, which is further up CA, near Lee Vining / Mono Lake area - which is also beautiful. |

Calico is only half of the town, the other half is at Knott's Berry Farm. Yes I have been there too. I stayed at Buena Park. I do miss my trips to the States. I am coming across to Florida in November if this ghastly virus has packed up and gone. |

Getting ready to go to work. Looking at another 50 hour work week again. Maybe it will be like this until the virus 🦠goes away.

The worry has finally hit. A shelter in place order has been issued where I live. Still learning what it all entails. Curfew and fines and what not. Now the fun begins with my job being essential and being out after curfew.

I thought I would have the same issue yesterday as we were supposed to be "in lockdown" - but the Government have back tracked (again!) and said that anyone who can't work from home should go to work as normal - which is a far cry from "essential workers only". Profit before people. Anyway, I am now in isolation as I myself have developed a fever. No other symptoms...yet?! |

Take care of yourself Andy. Most of us on this board are at risk. I fit both essential and at risk so working from home except when I need something from the office.

Thanks guys. I thought i'd update to say i've developed ear ache, & sore throat this afternoon. I fear the worst has happened, but it might just be any other bug if I am lucky! I don't have the customary dry cough, so maybe it is just an ear infection or something. |

How much fever Andy? Low grade and you don't need to worry about Covid 19. If a high fever, see your doc PDQ, just because it might be flu or something else that needs some treatment. Best of luck that it is a normal ordinary bug and hopefully not long lasting. |
