I was under the impression that my two computers already were merged, as far as RAC goes...
What's in plain sight that I can't see? Thanks very much.

I'm not sure what the question is.
You have 2 very different computers there, and both are active, they cannot be merged (even if one was no longer active).
Each as it's own RAC. Their total is what shows up against your account name and details.

Your RAC 11,130
Your computer's RAC 28.37 + 11,101.58


If you have 500 computers that have been attached to Seti under your account, then all their Credit will show against your account.

When I view my computers, there's a link on the page that reads "Merge computers by name".
I was wondering what would happen if I clicked on it. And after doing so, would there then be a different link that read something like -
"unmerge computers by name" ? (an option to return to the former state) I suppose I could give it a click, but I'm leery of doing so...

Sometimes there can be a glitch with things, and an existing computer might end up with a new Identity Number.
Merging computers allows people to combine the 2 identities for a single computer back in to one identity.

I have only managed to uncheck "Use Intel GPU" so far. When I looked for " C:\ProgramData\BOINC\projects\setiathome.berkely.edu"

Try refreshing/re-opening the folder. If it's still 0, then the information isn't in that file.

In the project folder (if you installed it on the C: drive, and by default it's a hidden folder).
C:\ProgramData\BOINC\projects\setiathome.berkeley.edu
will be a file called
mb_cmdline-8.22_windows_intel__opencl_nvidia_SoG.txt


Since it is a hidden folder, if you open Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer), click on "Local disk C:" (if that is the drive you installed BOINC on) in the left hand column.
At the top of the window there should be a View tab (File, Home, Share, View...) Left click on View. On the right of the options that then show under the tab, click on "Hidden Items".
That will make the folder visible.

Once you can see C:\ProgramData, make your way to the setiathome.berkeley.edu folder.
Once in there if you scroll down you should find a file named
mb_cmdline-8.22_windows_intel__opencl_nvidia_SoG.txt

Open that with Notepad (not wordpad).

-tt 1500 -hp -period_iterations_num 3 -high_perf -high_prec_timer -cpu_lock -sbs 2048 -spike_fft_thresh 4096 -tune 1 64 1 4 -oclfft_tune_gr 256 -oclfft_tune_lr 16 -oclfft_tune_wg 256 -oclfft_tune_ls 512 -oclfft_tune_bn 64 -oclfft_tune_cw 64

Left click and highlight the contents of the box above & then right click & select Copy.
Then in the open "mb_cmdline-8.22_windows_intel__opencl_nvidia_SoG.txt" file right click & select Paste. That will put the command line there. Then click on Save, then exit.
The next WU that starts processing, making use of the SoG application, will use those values.

It might take a while to happen as the BOINC Manager is trying all all of the GPU applications (CUDA42 CUDA50 SoG). These values will only affect SoG processed WUs.

I have followed all the advice you have given me, and I am truly blown away by the difference it has made.
The changes did take a little while to kick in, but now running 100 % faster. WUhoo!
