At least this time he can blame someone else.

Take off 7 hours for Berkeley at this time of year - installation complete 9:30pm, fell over 1:30am. Not an ideal time of day for that sort of work.

My Bet: They must be remove the tapes while the DB is shrinking and then reload.

Some data missing on the server status page and my PCs cannot report work, even with NNT set. I was hoping the servers would become more snappy with results out in the field dropping.

I don't think so. There should be zeros, not blanks.

I'd guess they are probably doing some form of maintenance. I bet it'll be back and updating.

my wild unsupported guess... Carolyn (the replica) had disk issues last night. When I look at my personal WU list, it is now current, and not 4 days behind like it was a bit ago.It is no longer looking at Carolyn.

After missing 3 Tuesday outrages, I'm sure some maintenance is past due. Still, anyone with hundreds of GPUs could quickly get quite a backlog while they're sneaking out for beer.

Lools like the ssp is displaying values in wrong spots. Some of the weird numbers make sense if you place them in a different row.

8,282,864 in 'Results ready to send' is close to the last good value for 'Workunits waiting for assimilation' 8,275,023.
The 7 in 'Results out in the field' could plausibly be 'Results ready to send'. Or the 1 in 'Workunits waiting for validation' could be that too.
38,742 in 'Workunits waiting for assimilation' could be 'Workunits waiting for db purging' - its last good value was 43,705.
27,170,490 in 'Workunit files waiting for deletion' looks like the total number of results in database. Its last good value was 27.327.147.
