I've setup a spare pc with a 1050ti & a 1050, everything looks ok but I'm not seeing the gpu's being used in boinc manager, the cards are picked up ok & I'm using the nvidia 435 driver.

Don't understand this statement. They obviously are being detected as per your log output. Both CUDA and OpenCL components are enumerated.

Do you mean you aren't processing any gpu work? Have you enabled gpu work in your project preferences?
