Remember one thing when using a 10 GA cord - Your wall only has 14 GA in it.
Keep a close eye (or finger in this case) that your wall plug, wiring and cord end don't get warm.
And don't just pop a 30A breaker in now that you have 50% 10 GA wiring on that circuit.

I would not "pop in a new breaker" without the full agreement of a licensed electrician. I promise.

Besides while I do like electrical heating I prefer it from my gpu's not my house wiring :)
