I bought a Jetson Nano last week and want to use it also for Seti. I got it crunching on the 4 normal cores, but much more interesting would be to get workunits for the graphics cores. I read here that there is a "mod" zi3v from Keith Myers. But I didn't find anything about that mod so far. Anyone here knows a description or tutorial on how to get CUDA work on a Jetson Nano? |

I have a working zi3v based application somewhat. The app frequently under reports pulses because of being based on the zi3v codebase. But that leads to a lot of tasks moving to Inconclusive until tackled by a third wingman. The tasks do validate though normally. This is my Nano host. https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=8707387 We were never successful in getting the newer code to give anything but errors. If you are interested I can make the app available for testing. Seti@Home classic workunits:20,676 CPU time:74,226 hours ![]() ![]() A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |

Thanks a lot! I'm definitely interested in giving it a try. Your Nano has an average point stat of 1882 while mine has 282 when just using the 4 CPU cores. So even with some errors the GPU gets quite some work done. |

Thanks a lot! I'm definitely interested in giving it a try. Well it was higher. But after reimaging the Nano and going with the distro repo, I can't keep the cpu app in play anymore. BOINC keeps deleting the app. So the current RAC is just for the gpu. It shares resources with Einstein also. I have a gpu app for Einstein BRP4 tasks also. Shoot me a PM so I can give you the Google Drive link to the app and the compiling instructions if you are interested.
