ERROR: OpenCL kernel/call 'clGetDeviceIDs' call failed (-1) in file ../../src/GPU_lock.cpp near line 819.
Waiting 30 sec before restart...
OpenCL platform detected: Mesa
OpenCL platform detected: The pocl project
WARNING: BOINC supplied wrong platform!

Is this by Mesa driver or do I have only wrong app?
Installed directly from repositary by sudo dnf install boinc-client boinc-manager
Sorry, I am basically a newbie to SETI@home.

It happens only with AstroPulse v7 v7.08 (opencl_ati_100) x86_64-pc-linux-gnu, other types run OK.

For greatest compatibility with the various science apps, the native OpenCL component in the Nvidia and AMD drivers is better. Mesa is too new for a lot of the older apps and is not recognized.

Ok, I installed Mint MATE instead of Win 10 on my SSD and looks fine after installing driver from AMD site - ./amdgpu-install --no-dkms --opencl=legacy

Good job. The key was the use of the --opencl=legacy parameter to get a compatible version of OpenCL installed. You should be fine from now on.
