I've been installing the live updates that show up in Linux Mint. However in PowerEdge-T320 hostid=8648662 when I installed 5.3.0-26-generic|libc 2.27 (Ubuntu GLIBC 2.27-3ubuntu1) I could not see my mouse pointer anymore. I have 2 other computers updated and no issues. I really don't know anything on what is happening. My solution was to roll back to 4.15.0-74-generic|libc 2.27 (Ubuntu GLIBC 2.27-3ubuntu1). Any ideas on what is happening? The mouse is still pointing, It will highlight if you hover over an icon on the desktop, provided you get lucky to see it.

Found this thread with a Google search. https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=279469
Try the last post which removes the mouse pointer module and then reinstalls it.
The last post in this thread says you can find the mouse pointer with the Control key depressed if you turn on the configuration for that.
