I removed an ATI GPU and added 2 NVIDIA GPU cards. The NVIDIA cards seem to be recognized and functioning well. But SETI@home in the task window says that it is missing the ATI card, and is not using any of the NVIDIA cards. W\hat can I do to fix this? As far as I know, I have removed all references to the ATI card in the windows setup.... -Tony |

You have results returned today that were processed on your Nvidia GPUs. So I’m not sure what you mean when you say the GPUs aren’t doing anything. They have to be if they’ve returned work. But my guess is that you have some tasks still assigned to ATI/AMD cards and they can’t run on anything else. (But I don’t see any ATI tasks in your list of tasks in progress). I would set No New Tasks, put the ATI card back in, process all the WUs that need an ATI card, then swap back Seti@Home classic workunits: 29,492 CPU time: 134,419 hours |

There is a message from the server that says something along the lines "No AMD/ATI GPU found" - this is a strange one as it is part of the "no tasks available" set of processes. Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

I cannot put the old ATI card back in. the NVIDIA cards are indeed recognized and functioning well. But the only SETI@home task listed indicates "0.0276% CPUs and ATI GPU (Missing)". And it is listed as "waiting to run". ANd it has a deadline of september 2018, which is probably AFTER I had replaced the ATI card, but I am not sure when exactly I did replace the card. I guess I will not worry about this task and leave it there. Is there a way to simply clear that task off the list? AAAAHHH... I see an "Abort" option. I used it and the task has disappeared from he list. At this moment there are no SETI tasks listed. I think that the issue is solved.... -Tony |
