Hi, I set up BOINC clients on my RaspberryPis (3+ and 4) a few days ago since they run 24/7 anyway. At first it all worked without a problem after I had everything set up correctly. But starting yesterday I'm not receiving any new SETI@Home tasks anymore. The log claims there are no tasks available. The few SETI@Home tasks I still have are running and use setiathome_v8.8.06 I have the same issue with Asteroids@Home, but according to their site there are actually no tasks available. All my other projects receive tasks and work without errors. Did SETI@Home run out of tasks? |

That is really weird. All three of my Pis report this: SETI@home 28.12.2019 07:28:18 Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. SETI@home 28.12.2019 07:28:18 Reporting 1 completed tasks SETI@home 28.12.2019 07:28:18 Requesting new tasks for CPU SETI@home 28.12.2019 07:28:22 Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks SETI@home 28.12.2019 07:28:22 Project has no tasks available Like I mentioned before, the few SETI tasks they still have are working without errors. And other projects are still sending new tasks. |

Last night I started receiving SETI@Home tasks again. Really odd. Nothing changed on my end and my Pis are running 24/7. |

When the client is having issues getting work, it is always best to avail yourself of the tools provided by the platform to diagnose why not. You could have set the work_fetch_debug logging flag in the Event Log to show the request for work and why or why not work is allowed to be sent to the host. Hi can you assist a little, please. I have nealy the same issue but on debian (buster). One of my cpu's i dont use much often for bionc/seti When trying to reactivate a couple of days ago i saw "http://gerasim.boinc.ru" to load the web setting in the gui as default... and i have no clue how that comes in/from! The seti project was not available at the gui. weird... Then i droped all configs, removed (purged the boinc software) and reinstalled all again. Connect (new project in boinc gui) to seti and then i tried to fetch for new tasks. But tere was no donload of tasks since the last few days Now i see in my cpu list at the seti web interface that this cpu seems to fetch tasks but they are all maked as error in the last days. There was not download of tasks. hmm How to debug, enable "work_fetch_debug" or the mentioned behavior? And: Now i got one solution (remembered some problems i had before): Package boinc-app-seti Version 8.00~svn3725-3 (works for me) downgrade of Version 8.00~svn3363-3 (using aptitude/apt). The tasks now comming in and calculation is running...! Probably the same on rpi (had the same prop on my rpi before but dont use the rpi anymore for seti/boinc)! Kind regards |

SETI@Home currently has low work availability. You can find information about it in the news thread here: https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=85093 |
