Caroll Spinney, the man who brought popular children's characters including Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch to life, has died at the age of 85.

I grew up watching him on Sesame Street. Big Bird and Oscar having conversations and learning a few life lessons together.
Caroll Spinney and all the memories you brought us. Goodbye.

RIP Carroll Spinney, I was in 6th grade in a Special Ed class when the Muppets appeared on Sesame Street on KCET via PBS, Carroll retired in 2015 while Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch live on.
