I used to run seti@home on my Mac with no issues but want to run it now on a Windows box I was not using. I am not at all terribly familiar with Windows in order to troubleshoot but after trying for a week, I still cannot connect. I am running Windows 10.

Where should I start? I do not have any third party security such as Norton, only using the stock Windows Defender firewall and virus protection. I am not over wireless, but using a direct ethernet cable.

Have you told Windows Defender to allow the BOINC client through port 31416?

do you even get the options of projects or is it grayed out? Which version of seti did you download? The 32 bit or 64 bit?
