I don't like our PM much any more; his behaviour was unprofessional (even if he thinks he's off-camera he shouldn't stoop to that conduct at a major world summit) and he's not doing anything about certain issues (ie gun crime in urban areas.)

However, in this case, most of the job losses we've been experiencing are due to effects on our "oil patch" from this so-called trade war. The price of oil and futures fell directly along with every tariff against China and other nations; now that it appears there will be a new trade deal in early 2020 it's starting to perk up again.

It's certainly arguable that this was necessary due to an unfair existing situation, but still it's something external we had no control over.

Trump signed the bill, now it is the law.
The aid was to be disbursed after the pentagon certified anti corruption activities occurred, which they did.
Trump delayed the disbursement, which the Republicans say was OK.
That is arguable.
Moving on, 35 million was not disbursed and expired at the end of the fiscal year.
Trump's duty was to follow the law.
Trump broke the law which he signed.
