Do Trump buildings have a sprinkler system?
https://www.voanews.com/usa/trump-tower-apartment-site-fatal-blaze-had-no-sprinklers

Sprinklers eat into profit. I believe there are some officials in the UK that are aware of that.

And what's another death at Trumps feet when he already has over 55,000 there.

Of course not. In a country that even allow self appointed security managers to be ruled by ignorant voters. What could possibly go wrong?

Oh dear...

Is there now ramping up yet another Trump propaganda war against news reporting?

So, is the new propaganda game to claim all news reporting as fake news? Propaganda to try somehow to confuse the story of Trump's 'confusion' about non-human-use disinfectant?!!

That looks like desperate propaganda to try to paper over and obfuscate for Trump's dangerously silly senility.

How many people are to die unnecessarily as a consequence?

Only in the USA?!

Stay safe,
Martin

It is the only tool he has, his hammer, pound on it no matter what.

All in the USA? And at what cost with what consequences?
You don't understand. The thumpers want their apocalypse and they want it now! The only thing that matters to them is dying so that can be saved and say "I told you so."

When Joe Biden was a vice president and visiting Sweden, Stockholm was closed down that day that spoiled my day. No votes from me! And why are so many presidential contenders so old in the US? No matter if they are Republican or Democrat.
No, vote Rocky Mountain Independent.

Trump has earned a clean sweep.
Whatever Trump touches dies.

Well worth the 8 minutes.

That really is gruesomely stark.

Trump really does look to have degenerated into a senile automaton of salesman of catchphrases, some of which he cannot even remember all three words.

Painful to watch.

Haven't watched any Biden speeches lately, have you? Sad thing to see, senility in all it's glory.

Which is why all politicians should retire when they hit 60. ;-)

From the Guardians US updates, https://www.theguardian.com/world/live/2020/apr/28/coronavirus-us-live-congress-may-return-america-reopening-trump-cuomo-latest-news-updates
at 07:35 Eastern,
When the US economy will reopen remains the key question but Congress will be back in session for sure on Monday 4 May.

Many people think that’s not a good idea at all, not least because the Senate skews old, to say the least, in a time when a virus is disproportionately killing older Americans. Only 14 of 100 senators are under 50 and 28 are 70 or older, six of those past 80.

Majority leader Mitch McConnell said on Monday he would “modify routines in ways that are smart and safe”. Here’s a look at how the House of Commons is doing it in the UK. And here, from the Welsh Assembly, is a chilling demonstration of the perils of forgetting to mute your mic on Zoom.

The 100 senators and 435 representatives will return to the usual political battles, anyway, looking to add to coronavirus stimulus/rescue efforts under a president who tweeted on Monday: “Why should the people and taxpayers of America be bailing out poorly run states (like Illinois, as example) and cities, in all cases Democrat run and managed, when most of the other states are not looking for bailout help. I am open to discussing anything, but just asking?”

The mechanics of which states bail out which are fascinating. Ask Andrew Cuomo:

Andrew Cuomo (@NYGovCuomo)

NY has given $116 billion more to the federal government than we received since 2015.

Kentucky *took* $148 billion more from the federal government than it gave.

Just give NY our money back, Senator McConnell.
