Good afternoon.

After reading documentation on the SETI@Home client and its analysis, I began noticing interesting results as tasks were completed on my home PC. I would like to share this information as I know those watching these forums have a better grasp on what is valuable data and what is insignificant, thank you.

You seem familiar. perhaps a Norwegian?
If not then let me explain that the results you have are meaningless without replication. There are millions of triplets and spikes reported daily. Most, if not all, are just anomalies

Thank you, no I am not Norwegian.

I see that these patterns can have a variety of causes and that there would need to be more corroboration of data in order to make a conclusion. Thank you, good luck to all the researchers at SETI.

I suggest you have a read of the "nebula" thread where Dr Anderson describes his work on the enxt stage of the analysis of the data we have screened.

Thanks, I will definitely do that. I guess my excitement overwhelemed my objectivity. Ah well, better than not caring I suppose.
