Good intentions? Really?

What a nasty scam. Deadly corrupt greed.

That is yet another example of why we cannot afford to sell off our NHS and NHS services...

Campaign for the NHS Reinstatement Bill - Renationalising our NHS will require legislative change

Keep Our NHS Public has been taking action for 15 years to protect our health service from cuts, privatisation and corporate takeovers. We’re the largest and longest-running health campaign in the UK.

Now, we’re campaigning to support health workers, tackle the spread of coronavirus, and hold the government to account over its negligent and callous response to the pandemic. We’re in the fight of our lives to protect our health workers and our NHS...

...worried about trawlers overturning & losing crews...

It's very sad that activists have to go to such extreme lengths to be able to protect anything of our environment from continued lazy/desperate greed.

There is a double-positive in those actions by Greenpeace in that hopefully, that area is now noted as a no-go zone for destructive fishing, and that the fishermen also benefit from the hopeful chance that increased fish stocks will develop in the surrounding areas that are fed by that protected area.

Those boulders are also a good reminder to not encroach on those protected areas and also to ensure that the trawler's safety releases do actually work rather than being neglected to become rusted solid...

Some people don't stop & think before they make public statements.
Either that or the speech writers fail to see the implications.
For example:
"Typically, we're resetting our rents to more affordable levels," Mr Bourgeois told the BBC's Today programme.

36 hours on from the initial announcement, we have seen FiFA, UEFA, Premier League & Governments caught up in this.
Surprising, nothing from the F.A.
I wonder why?
Let's look at the F.A. & Government...
Khan has not ruled out making another bid in future if there is more support from FA Council members.
The FA had said it would invest the proceeds of the sale into improving grassroots football facilities.
Sports Minister Tracey Crouch told the BBC she was "very disappointed" by the decision, calling the offer "a huge opportunity to boost funding into the development and maintenance of artificial and grass pitches up and down the country".

Have your lobbyists been busy?
Has a U.S. Task Force sailed?
Yanks go home
Bet that hurt. :-)
The thing is:
Your trade disputes with China, yet...
...profits are practically maximised here & in Europe so...
...you want a separate "Super League" based on your NFL model & owning the TV rights so you can sell to China.
What has been surprising is that on several platforms, Americans have commented...
...Well Done England. :-)

So...
No...
United Devils v Kopper Rams in Abu Dhabi
Blue Pensioners v Goners in Florida
Cockerel Feathers v Sky Dolphins in Singapore
...Better luck next time...
...unless that Task Force has sailed & good luck if it has!
