It's very sad that activists have to go to such extreme lengths to be able to protect anything of our environment from continued lazy/desperate greed.

There is a double-positive in those actions by Greenpeace in that hopefully, that area is now noted as a no-go zone for destructive fishing, and that the fishermen also benefit from the hopeful chance that increased fish stocks will develop in the surrounding areas that are fed by that protected area.


Those boulders are also a good reminder to not encroach on those protected areas and also to ensure that the trawler's safety releases do actually work rather than being neglected to become rusted solid...
