Here we go again...Guess the people in charge don't give a stuff about this side of project..Maybe time to shut down my part and save on bills... Have stopped any further D/L's but will finish tasks. Sorry all |

. . Here it was up at 9:05pm AEDT (10:05am UTC) which makes it 2:05am Berkeley time, but down at 9:10 pm or 2:10am Berkeley. So while very repetitive this phenomenon is not punctual ... . . As someone also remarked, I sure hope this time is a lot shorter outage than last week. . . This is really making me want to spoof the BOINC client too ... I grow weary of constantly running out of work ... Stephen :( |

For over 12 hours now my machines are running dry of tasks. I returned 500 but nothing back to me. |

As noted - happening again ... I'm putting myself to the fullest possible use, which is all, I think, that any conscious entity can ever hope to do. |

Ah well, I won't go the pub, but I'll go to my local Café, for some coffee and a sandwich... Some coffee & aspirins for me to recover from the hangover, them i could think to do the sacrifice for the SETI cause. 6 Sundays in a row! Is a Super Jackpot! |

Greetings, Scheduler kick into gear again. :) Have a great day! :) Siran [edit] Before this "outage", I was about to hit the BIG 6 digit overall RAC! Now I gotta work back up to it. I got up at 7AM PDT and was pleasantly surprised to find it was fixed. I expected far worse. |

bad news - we still had a sunday outage. good news - someone got up early on Sunday morning to fix it. This must not be an easy problem to fix. Their dedication to fixing the system and loading more files on the weekend proves how important the project is to the team. I also am really happy that everything continued to work during a power outage of some length. Berkeley was closed for a couple of days and they still loaded files and kept it running. Kudos to the team on keeping things working during the power outage/campus shutdown. Kudos to keeping the Sunday outage shortish. |

Could be fixed fast this time, but i imagine after 6 weeks in a row, someone from the lab could write a couple of lines (sure this not takes more than 5 minutes of their precious time) explaining whats the cause of this happening on the news thread, at least as a courtesy to the SETI community. my 0.02 |

Last week I got a 'thank you' for information useful with debugging, but not a sniff of a diagnostic. Whether they used the timing information to know when to restart things this week, I don't know - getting it started was more important than answering the email... |
